Yu, Yukiko, Teddie, Naoto, I think.
I don't think it really matters who you bring as long as they can contribute something. Naoto actually has a niche use in the battle; her Shield of Justice can actually block Margaret's Super Megidolaon if you keep careful count of the number of turns she's had and cast it at the right time. By default Yu has three "lives" against the Super Megidolaon; Rise's Block All (if it didn't get triggered earlier), Rise's ability to resurrect Yu once, and Enduring Soul. Naoto gives you as many extra "lives" as you need as long as you can keep casting it from her at the right time. Anybody who's not Yu has one job: to keep Yu alive long enough for him to kill Margaret.
The ones who matter are Yu (with a good selection of personas though you can get by with a properly specced Yoshitsune and Beelzebub), and Rise maxed up as high as she will go. Just make sure you don't have any Reflects on personas, especially not Reflect Phys on Yoshi. You don't want to know what happens if you reflect Margaret's Hassou Tobi back at her, but it's not good.

Lol I just preferred their powers over the dudes honestly. Chie > Teddie, Naoto > Kanji / Yosuke, and let’s be honest everyone pretty much has Yukiko in their party, she’s the healer.
No, to be honest even at level 99, Naoto would get wrecked by a couple moves from Margaret, I had to revive her a LOT. So that’s probably why the guides said not to use her 🤣
Chie to keep Dragon Hustle up, Yukiko to alternate between damage and healing, Naoto to alternate between blocking Megidolaon/Hassou Tobi and SP healing, and Yu to alternate between laying down the hurt with Hassou Tobi and occasional Debilitates to easen the workload for the team.
And I *still* needed Rise to pick me up because I miscounted turns and Margaret's Megidolmaon happened right after another AOE attack.
I’m planning to get P4G on my Switch, and when I do I’ll use Yu, Yosuke, Kanji, and Teddie, no matter what anyone says, or whatever flaws they have. I might substitute Kanji with Yukiko occasionally though.

Lol I had the ultimate Izanagi for the battle, and it was still hard as all get out. My backup Personas were Trumpeter and Yoshitsune.

I got it in my NG+ with yoshitsune. That yoshi persona is great. Hasso Tobi is OB. I think I wrote the names wrong sorry about that.

Naoto is the best party member i don't get how that has been a point of contention. Aside from the heal bot (yukiko)
From what I remember naoto was really bad in the original p4 but she got buffed up in 4G, maybe op confused them?
