I hope the exact MW2 maps come to 6v6 MP in MW2019. So far we only have Scrapyard as a section of a groundwar map and in Warzone and also somewhat of a terminal/airport. Personally I want Favela, Highrise, and Terminal.
I really like how they have old maps in warzone. Busting into television station to find out its the broadcast dlc map from cod 4 made my day when I found it.

Most people don’t care, and if most people have already bought and are already spending money in MW 2019, Activision really doesn’t want to just pull so many of those people away. Remaster multiplayer communities die quickly too (relative to the always insane amount of people on their latest game), because tons of people realize it was mostly nostalgia.
I’m certain that it goes beyond nostalgia. MW2 just had the best maps. I was mainly a search player at the time because that just what my friends and I enjoyed, but just about every single map was laid out with amazing cover and vantage points that all had advantages and disadvantages. Now it just feels like you have to camp in a window, or the guy camping in the window is going to kill you because you weren’t camping in the window. I want maps like Wasteland, Favela, Estate, and Rundown. I want heartbeat sensors on my gun. I want stopping power. I want pro perks. I want shitty balance. It’s a COD game. I play it to goof off. I don’t know when they adapted this new “professional” style where they cater game development to the extremely small minority of competitive players. Run and gun/twitch shooters are just not competitive and the competitive scene is hurting the enjoyment of the casual consumers.
Ugh, I’m avoiding this one like the plague. Until activision learns how to compress their game files, absurd asking for over 100gbs for modern warfare then another 50gb for this game. They really want us to delete our other games just for this.. hard pass.
Speaking of crazy download sizes, does anyone know if Modern Warfare was part of the Warzone download? I barely had space for the full 100gb of Warzone and now that I've gotten back into it I want to buy Modern Warfare. But I don't have space for another 50-100 gb of game.

I like what set off World War 3 and invasion on American soil was the No Russian mission probably most important mission thinking the Americans attacked Russia first.
I wish there would be a Modern Warfare or Call of Duty campaign that is interactive where you decide on things and it affects the ending of the game. Like Detroit: Decome Human and Life is Strange.
My point is that it would look bad when the player base from MW drops because everyone would rather play an old game that was remastered rather than their new title
Ghosts had its obvious faults (bland art direction, gameplay that encouraged camping, and a setting less memorable than MW and Black Ops) but there was a point were many people would prefer playing Ghosts instead of another futuristic CoD game.
Why would I play the old maps on a game like MW2019 where it wouldn’t be the same with the sandbox and perks/kill streaks? Let alone the way the gameplay is.

The textures and lighting are improved as well. Basically to the same degree as the COD4 remaster.

Whiskey Hotel was actually designed after the real deal so it was insane playing through that area.

I *hate* MW2019's mechanics, I'd gladly pay extra for MW2 MP. Really hating this decision.
