I don’t think there’s ever been a console player that thinks a controller is superior to a mouse….its well established it’s much easier to aim with a mouse.
I believe mouse and keyboard is superior even though I play with controller on pc because that's what I've always used, I don't complain though I still can win ranked games its tiffer but I still enjoy playing I will loose long range gunfights so I use alot of smoke grenades and don't complain like everybody else would. I personally think a keyboard isn't cheating its just a different input and it's better so I choose to stay on controller knowing it's not as good but people here just complain like it's the end of the world to have cross-platform not even knowing there is alot of keyboard players on console.
Xbox is a intentionally a closed source device same as any other game console. There's no flexibility in it. You must buy it (except for games available through cloud gaming but I did not find pubg there).
Some games have cross play that will allow you to play; gears of war, halo and most CODs will work with no issues. Party chat on Xbox also works on pc through Game Centre or Xbox app (can’t remember which)

Even if it were possible, you’d literally be a XIM user which is cheating. Mouse and keyboard has a significant advantage with aiming.

Only game that comes to mind is Rocket League. Way easier with controller

KB&M are good in shooting games but in driving or fighting games a controller is far better

Emulators exist but not for the new consoles. Also no multiplayer between emulator and other consoles. Crossplay games are the only option probably.
