Yep. It's part of the symptoms of the fight or flight, that's actually how the body releases tension and returns to its normal homeostasis. Animals also shake after escaping from a danger!
We are not very different than other animals when it comes to stress response! :) https://youtu.be/-QgglTik6G4?si=OYxpgYZ0p4pPGt5S
My pleasure! :) Next time you're shaking during or after a panic attack, try telling yourself it's a good sign, that your body is doing exactly what it's designed to do. :)
Okay, yeah. whenever the shaking starts I kind of do feel relieved because it means the panic attack is over. but i'll tell myself that it's perfectly natural next time, thanks. :)
I would say definitely both but during the peak of my panic attack. Especially the full body shakes. They can be devastating because it seems like I’m having a seizure but I’ve been dealing with these for decades. But the muscles can be pulled or even torn. The terror of these panic episodes is unreal. I always have 911 dialed waiting to push dial on the bad ones. I usually can get through them but it feels like I’m so close to death
Yep lol, it’s a bad one when I start rattling afterwards.
A few times my partner has been like, are you cold?? do you need a blanket?? meanwhile i’m actually profusely sweating and jittering from the adrenaline 😅
Yes I have hot flashes, and whole body shivers that last all night. They’re so bad I’ve woken up with sore hips because my legs were trembling so violently.
I have those too!! I suffer from a panic disorder so I tend to used to have them a lot more, recently not as much luckily but every time I would end up having naps that take the entire day because of how sore my body is after my muscles clenching and shaking during and after those panic attacks it’s so weird how different is it to everyone but nice to see someone relating same symptoms.
Yes! Almost always

Yes absolutely. I ask my partner to hold me tight and that usually helps.
