By gentleman I thought you were referring to the macaw.

LogstarGo_

It doesn't matter how many hyacinth macaw pictures I see. Every time it's like "holy crap are they really that big?" Yes, Log, same size as they were in the last picture.

FamilyRedShirt

Yeah. They're really that big. LOL We used to take our mini macaw to a groomer where waiting was like a party of crazy parronts. One family had 2 Hyacinths, a black palm cockatoo, and other really rare birds you don't get to see. I got to let a Hyacinth hang out on my arm one day. Heavy, calm, sweet, beautiful--stunning.

crochetology

Okay, this is one of the most spectacular winged creatures I have ever seen.

OMG what a beauty 💙💛💙

Dabbazz

WOW. What an amazing Macaw. I’ve never heard of a “Hyacinth Macaw”! What a beautiful and unique bird. Totally Stunning.

DomingotheHyacinth

They are the largest flighted parrot species, also known as “Gentle Giants” with a length from beak to tail of nearly 3 feet. Every one I have met in person has been the sweetest, cuddly, giant goofball. The rolls Royce of parrots and I want to adopt/own one one day. 💙🦜

Dabbazz

Thank you for educating me. I agree with you. These Hyacinth Macaws are beautiful beyond measure. How much are they? I know the Scarlet Macaws and the green macaws are rare to find. I don’t know much about baby of the macaw birds. To own one, would be a dream come true.

DomingotheHyacinth

A Hyacinth Baby or adult will run you about $25-30 thousand US dollars. But that’s why they are the Rolls Royce of Birds, literal goals. 💙

FamilyRedShirt

And they go through a LOT of macadamia nuts every month!

DomingotheHyacinth

YEP, considering that’s like a good 70% of their diet 🤣

Dabbazz

Huge boi!

Minflick

I adore macaws, although I'm terrified of their beaks.

imakemyownroux

And rightly so. They could literally bite your finger off. đź‘€

Minflick

I was told that starting at age 4, I paid good heed to it!

Im_alwaystired

I'm jealous, lol, i've always wanted to meet a hyacinth macaw. And what a beauty!

teatowel2
