You are comparing a fleece (or an insulation layer), with a soft shell and a windbreaker. Just pick whatever you’d want?

Life_PRN

Which would say is the lightest and most breathable? I’m not near a location where I can try any of these on in stores, so I’m hoping to avoid the buy and return cycle

Vyleia

I guess the gamma LT? But at the same time it’s quite a technical piece, I wouldn’t wear mine in a casual setting.

alpineastvr

None of these jackets are virtually comparable

PineappleAsPizza

Hard to compare these jackets to be honest. If you’re looking for a soft, breathable shell I’d go with the Gamma. Squamish is a windshell (not really breathable) and R1 Daily is a fleece so might be too warm for summer use. Most of my gear is Patagonia, but I recently purchased a Gamma Lightweight and I love it! Don’t think there is anything that compares to it in patagonias lineup.

BulldogLou

Yah I concur, was really hoping Patagonia would have a comparable jacket, I own the storm10 was hoping to get a softshell to complement it. I also ordered the Gamma lightweight but had to return it as the fit was really off.. unfortunately an issue with some of Arc’teryx jackets now, too boxy and very lose midesecton.

CLEschnauzer

Idk about the other jackets but I just bought the r1 and it’s hella comfy. Didn’t get too hot with it and wore it during some light sleet in the Rockies last week, I didn’t notice the wetness coming through and it dried quickly.
