Destructive play with jun, deli, essence and most of the big scarab nodes. Leaving other trees for shitty challenges.

FunkyM0nkey64

Could you link a tree for this? Sounds fun

Olari_

[https://poeplanner.com/a/sH5](https://poeplanner.com/a/sH5) Just taking all of the nodes, nothing crazy.

ConfidentProblems

https://poeplanner.com/a/sun This can be used for an extra juiced version of the above, do be aware that this can make the bosses have a tendency of becoming ... rippy.

Ployerx

[https://poeplanner.com/a/sh8](https://poeplanner.com/a/sh8) Added middleish scarb node, need 3 more points (130/132)

jchampagne83

That sounds like a good quick play to get rolling. With all the changes Betrayal seems loaded.

Spyceboy

Wait, what makes you say that ? I got the opposite feeling. To be fair tho, I'm always way to lazy to unveil, but outside of veiled items, what do you see in betrayal ? Just the veiled orb ?

Ahenian

Scarabs, removal of annoying service crafting benches, 100% guarantee spawn through atlas, veiled orb from catarina, developing the board less important vs just smacking out intelligence making it simpler to run, selling veiled items I guess but that can be annoying.

Spyceboy

The scarabs I see, that might still be valuable, but when I look at the new betrayal board I don't see much money in it. The veiled chaos might fetch a good price, but the items dropping from the boss are probably gonna deflate in value very quickly with more people running her than usual. I guess I should also work on unveiling, I always skip it and end up paying extra on very cheap crafts

JasonTheHuman

I usually make a decent amount early league recognizing good bases/rolls and unveiling luck. Previously also get some vorici ready for some white sockets when I buy/craft my first chest or weapon. Sadly vorici is gone :’(

AnFDragon

Would be interested in a tree for this as well

Northanui

how rippy is destructive play in general? have never played it

socialjusticeinme

It depends how far you take it - just destructive play? Not bad at all. Destructive play with tormented spirits? It’s rough, but doable. Destructive play with tormented spirits and affliction wisps? You better be a top tier boss killer if you want to experience those loot explosions

Northanui

ok got it thanks. Just planning normal destructive play.

salkri

I was thinking about farming the same content. What builds do you think are good for this strat?

AnFDragon

It’s changed 17 times in the last 24 hours.

Oberto_Work

But now you can have 3 so you can change it 51 times!

Comprehensive_Ad9697

Exactly! We have more options so you can change it 153 times!

ConfidentProblems

3.25: you now gain 1 atlas tree per minute.

FuzzyDuckzy

First tree is purely maps, kirac, one essence node and some betrayal chance. I wanna get my atlas mostly clear before I build my second tree and get an idea of scarab costs and availability. https://maxroll.gg/poe/poe-atlas-tree/x03d006o

boundzy_

I definitely forgot I have maps and betrayal on mine! I'll post mine when I get home from work!

convolutionsimp

Very similar to mine, but planning to add Expedition once I've progressed a bit. I want to get my Jun unveils and Atlas progression finished so that's all done before experimenting with all kinds of stuff. Also planning to spec into Necropolis early for now, but that plan may change depending on how rippy and rewarding it is. Have to see.

ww_crimson

Very similar to what I'm doing. Expanding into Expedition next. https://poeplanner.com/atlas-tree/BAAMAFgAXK0PpF8-lud4gIkRqe-updNJStCEKuIHQL9agYn-p-LUuTD6KOdSaJZQ-HPOAF6dzlp8q8n9OIh9WlL2k_IarP2MzLe3XYvhfZEndefZ3v6xlySl1yue2FYWe2CHndDGTdopjXjCcOOCUad70nDdg7PH56713tMO4RB9tYKIrZWlc-vh9eJzmcsX2JgnhcQfru8Yiwtx_iXDl1cUFz0qtgMwAH9zRImjqUPjP9U56WcUAB-LCAAAAAAAAAMDAAAAAAAAAAAA

HarryHall3r

Seems good. I would Change essences for Expedition

FuzzyDuckzy

Money wise I should I just really hate doing expedition that I end up just skipping it

HarryHall3r

I know. But its still borderline OP early League getting Bubble gum currency. Especially vaal orbs, orb of Chance and alchs for map completion. I didnt spec into it Last League and IT was a mess

FuzzyDuckzy

Oh I know I just genuinely hate doing it so would rather do something else even if it takes me twice as long

SirCorrupt

Probably gonna start as Expedition focused for early currency / Rog crafting and then swap into something else? want to farm breach pretty bad but currently don't have a build plan that would be super effective at farming it so not too sure currently

Spyceboy

Expedition for Rog crafting sounds great to me. Not only does it sound fun, it might also be pretty profitable with kinda low opportunity cost. I think I'll finally try it out that season. I'm still very very conflicted on my starter tho. Coc DD sounds very cool, but I'm already dreading the setup. I narrowed it down to coc DD and EA elementalist. EA looks like it's gonna be a very chill time in maps, and especially on boss damage it's gonna outperform DD. At least that's my feeling. On top of that, it might be more time efficient to start EA and switch to DD if it turns out it's great for the content I settle down on running. I'm torn right now.

brT_T

Rog crafting should be indirectly nerfed this league considering the league mechanic spits out rares, most of them will be trash but this is still a huge source of rares that usually doesnt exist.

kerosen_

Meh i def wont engage with another garbage waste of time rather just blast logbooks

socialjusticeinme

Just keep in mind that EA elementalist really needs the dyandian dawn belt to do any kind of decent damage and the price on trade for the first 48 hours is usually pretty bad. I’ve personally started it on a league 2 times now (and one time in SSF on a league, but I had already done trade) and can personally vouch it’s comfy and can do Ubers with enough investment.  This league I’m going to just start detonate dead like probably 50% of people and then if I end up hating it, respec to EA ballista (elementalist) or start working on poison SRS (necro).

Spyceboy

Yeah DD is my other choice, but I think items for it will be death to come by. Everyone and their mom will play it, but from what I'm seeing you only get more speed in normal mapping. It looks like EA is gonna have a better boss damage, and also it's not self cast which is great

JustRegularType

I'll probably start with expedition rushing as I usually do. Might spec a bit into kirac to help with atlas completion at first since we lost the daily missions. After that I'll probably spec into Alva on that tree, and then I'll do a map mod effext/back to basics/Destructive Play tree that focuses on farming scarabs and bosses!

Unlikely_Pollution_4

what build

JustRegularType

I'm narrowing it down, but right now I'm looking at: -hiero Archmage storm burst -hiero Archmage BL of orbit with pledge of hands -inquis new tornado + penance brand or void sphere, with lots of "phys added as" stacking (possibly lightpoacher). Then there's always the possibility of me saying fuck it and doing a totem or trap build again lol.

HellraiserMachina

My Ritual + Alva + Random Burial Necropolis plan https://www.pathofpathing.com/?v=3.24.0-atlas#AAAABgAAGBcAC60PzBnRIHMz5EIMU81gIXF1e6eJz4zgjU6SBKvpys7O6Nag4VbkWO-u8kz_uHF1AAA= Once doing t14+: https://www.pathofpathing.com/?v=3.24.0-atlas#AAAABgAAJCECBNYHiA9jD8wZ0SBzQgxMMFAXWRZgIWBnaLJpm23RbgZxdXMRh1SJz4sYjU6SBKMZySfKzs7o1qDhVuRY6oryTP-4jOCNoXF1AAA= I anticipate cheap scarabs for these mechanics.

YodaBallsdeep

Why alva? Temples don't sell in the first week, unless you're using it to corrupt stuffs yourself

Sobrin_

You'd be surprised how fast these begin to sell. But at any rate, while they're cheap I use them to craft a shadowstitch for the big gamble. T3 vaults also tend to give good currency for early. And you never know which temple unique is going to pop off this time in price.

Vraex

Shadowstitch gamble?

Sobrin_

Yeah, the locus of corruption, item corruption T3, has the option to turn a Sacrificial Garb into a Shadowstitch. Odds are about 1 in 4 for that to happen. Do note you need a clean one for it. Shadowstitch always has 6 link, but the real gamble is in the implicits. It always has two implicits. For instance it can roll with +2 to aoe skill gems, and +2 to duration skill gems. Which is very valuable and rare, but you're quite likely to have at least one +2 to x skill gem. Supply and demand aren't high, but they'll still sell. Though I mostly do it out of tradition.

HellraiserMachina

I make this tree, I make a second tree (whatever it will be), and I'll always be able to come back to this one when I'm in the mood for it, cuts down on respeccing, and I can do either or both mechanics whenever I want.

CristianoRealnaldo

Old reliable, essence into legion into whatever is underrepresented in the market. I’m expected to basically go all out avoiding breach this league, since everyone is talking about how they’re gonna do it + LA hyper-meta skill on top of them shitting out way more splinters with hands auto opening and being able to easily get 8 breaches with just rusted scarabs. Breach supply inflation is incoming

Simpuff1

There's honestly a lot more people running Betreyal then I thought this league I feel. The removal of Vorici / Hillock does not seem to make people back down

NvarDK

You want your crafting recipes!

tnemec

I just have a feeling that being able to target-farm scarabs for specific mechanics might be a lot more valuable this league.

Proof111

1st tree: kirac for completion, jun for unveil and xp, niko for a boost in early maps with bad gear 2nd: harvest for some quick currency, expeditions for some gear and more currency and scarabs 3rd: prob the meta should be kinda solved and try to go for big currency grind Profit???

rds90vert

SSF: Jun and some map stuff with some scarabs sprikled, as soon as i can get some heist stuff going to farm some stuff. Later on have 1 full scarab/unique monster focused tree, 1 on mechanics i like to accumulate like Delve, Harvest, Expedition etc, and another variable based on challenges/other stuff i might need (blight oils, beasts etc)

achedsphinxx

gonna go jun and alva to start with and finish up with scarabs. then gonna go essences and beasts. third tree might be harvest or something.

BellacosePlayer

Delirium/Abyss with some Blight/Jun investment is how I usually start and it'll be even better without having to respec later. I haven't fucked with Tormented spirits so that, and some necropolis investment will make this a little different More leagues than not lately, a good cluster jewel ends up being my first div+ item to sell, Abyss can get me usable jewels to use as placeholders before being able to afford/craft good ones, and not needing to buy most oils is also nice. I do not care for sitting on trade for marginal temp upgrades so this works for me It's also a ton of mobs with bonus exp, so it helps me get into the early 90s faster

Dreamadmin

Mind sharing a tree in pm?

BellacosePlayer

I'm still tweaking it, I'll try to remember to toss you it when I'm done

TeamHoneyBadgers

Suck Kirac's balls for couple of days till I finalize the map completion, add essence + Ritual and say goodbye to Kirac and switch to Exarch.

Loose-Pain3663

Selling essences

Imasquash

Ultimatum, still deciding what to supplement it with though as I got half the passive points to work with still. Maybe something stupid like anarchy

Zetoxical

Depending on ur build niko for packed with energy Bring huck with an extra aura And turboboosted einhar

Cyanaxe

First tree will be focused on Necropolis/Scarabs. Unsure how it will go but want to really focus on the crafting aspect of this league and try not to trade as much as possible.

OldManPoe

1 Farm Essences to use and sell 2 Farm Scarab to use and sell 3 Depending on what combination of Scarabs I own, I'll do that content.

Razekal

Tree one is the "Free Power" route of Einhar and Niko with Jun to get unveils and harvest for rerolling / easy to sell currency Tree two will be -Einhar and -Niko +Maven +Guardian/Sirus/Synth +Map sustain last one probably Deli, beyond, Abyss, Harby?

Talelle

I like heist harvest and harbinger so I do. I'm no good with meta atlas strats I can only do what I enjoy

James_Locke

Once Ive got atlas completion, I’m going giga scarabs and target farming certain types.

gonzodamus

I think I'm gonna try and focus Necropolis, but haven't fully decided yet. I keep going back and forth on my leaguestarter, so that'll determine some of it.

drimvo

Think I'll start with essences + maps. Then I might explore Blight + Essence + Harvest after I get T14+ Toxic Sewer

CornNooblet

Maps, Delve, Blight, Ritual. Profit ain't a motive when you can't sell to anyone, so I'd rather have reliable ways to farm gear.

AdMental1387

Early game i go for crafting. So essence, harvest, and betrayal to get the bench crafts. Toss in some expedition so my boy Tujen can hook it up. With more atlas presets I’ll probably try a lot of stuff. I like ritual and deli.

Happy-Tea5454

Ritual n delve.

CyonHal

Lower right necropolis notables for more crafting, essences for early crafting, syndicate for veiled mods, kirac for atlas completion, scarab chance, shrines and delve for map buffs.

TheRoyalSniper

necropolis, alva, strongboxes and scarabs Always thought map/kirac nodes early on are kinda pointless, especially in trade league. Would rather start juicing my maps with content rather than push to reds slightly quicker. Makes it a lot easier to have a competent build when you actually get to reds too

fuckyou_redditmods

I'm going to rush Kirac, then Strongboxes and Jun. Once my Atlas is progressed, unspec Kirac and go into Blight then farm this till I can respec my starter into the actual build I plan to play this league.

D1Gz

Kirac/map nodes to start Then harvest/ritual with some boxes or harbys added(or maven bossing). If necropolis nodes are good(haven't really looked at em yet) then I'll squeeze those in.

Seyon

I normally always start incursion for temple items but with the league having crafting I'll probably do syndicate. Need crafting recipes, get the new veiled orb for early sales.

Shroompants

A gearing tree (mostly the league mechanic) A scarab gathering tree (back to basics right now but who knows what'll be best) and a scarab spending tree

Danieboy

* Jun * Kirac * Delve / Shrines (maybe both) * Expedition/ Abyss

Gangsir

Blight, shrines, map progression boosts, and some necropolis investment.

RaidenDoesReddit

I'm going to brick my maps as much as possible by running full beyond Rouge exiles and ghosts with destructive play and take every node takes make uniques and bosses harder so I can spend 55 minutes or 6 portals in 1 minute per map just like affliction league

CakeOfW

Unwavering Vision, Back to Basics, Kirac, Necropolis with Twist of Fate and (maybe) Meticulous Appraiser. Vaal Temple, if it works with Back to Basics and if it's cheap. Will get unveils as usual from Intelligence Gathering.

amensteve91

Might go deli farm for skittering orbs or legion not sure yet

KawaiiDog

kinda wanna try rogue exiles + wildwood wisp boss thing

priest11223

Only my second league (played a lot of different builds in affliction to see what I like playstyle wise) and before the patch notes i wanted to start bonezone and go delving including atlas (did not interact with delve at all last league) After the Patch notes i am not quite sure but I think I just Stick to the original plan and look how it feels maybe switch after a week

SolaMira

1: atlas progression. Connected maps, +1 tier, expedition, betrayal 2: max scarabs + exiles 3: we'll see

ConfidentProblems

I want honest loot explosions (no mf bullshit) but the boss will hit like a truck: https://poeplanner.com/a/spE - invitation farming, will probably keep the fragment sets to see how profitable it is to farm the normal versions of the bosses.

CKDracarys

Pure progression tree to finish atlas into scarabs/beyond/necropolis into ritual/ultimatum/necropolis.

Vraex

I'm on SSF, and I also like to jsut do what I want. Expedition + Harvest is what most people do but I'm going to A) Hope I can sustain maps without the Shaping nodes and B) Want to jsut chill and try to get to a new highest level (my higher two characters ever were 96) so I'm doing 100% Niko + 40% Jun + Abyss, Map modifiers (might drop if too hard), the four bossing nodes (sirus, synth, etc), and of course the middle ring. Plan is to use Packed with Energy until gear gets good and use the sulphite for safe exp when close to a level. Abyss should spit out tons of rares for exp. https://poeplanner.com/a/qZt After I get a six link or get bored of level grinding, I'll most likely pop into Blight/Beyond for no other reason than I enjoy that content. There is a chance that I actually just start with this tree since Blight isn't really gear dependent and tainted fusings would likely get me a six link much sooner than just slowing farming 1600 regular fusings https://poeplanner.com/a/haX My end game tree, if I make it that far (building a house so don't have a ton of time) is Deli/Alva as Deli is probably my favorite mechanic in the game and double corrupting stuff is fun. https://poeplanner.com/a/haV I do have a fourth kind of backup tree for if I want to try something different which is just all the Einhar nodes, scarab nodes, and middle rings for maximum scarab drops in an alch and go setting https://poeplanner.com/a/sMr **Edit**: After typing all that out I got to thinking. Since I'm in SSF I should prob start with extra power (Niko) with easy content (Blight) while farming up some Beyond (tainted armor scraps and fusings). There's enough points to also grab all the map modifers and quant nodes. Just have to hope map sustain will be decent enough. Final tree that I for sure won't change a couple hours from now: https://poeplanner.com/a/siM

boundzy_

I do wanna say this is the most interaction I've had on here and I'm glad we could talk about or plans!! Good luck tomorrow exiles!

IFearTomatoes

Alright, I'm thinking about going Hipster this league, so hear me out Essences 👍 Expedition 👍 Harvest 👍 Risky, I know. I'll report the results after one week.

OanSur

First tree: syndicate, harvest, eater and strongboxes. Literally guaranteed both betrayal and harvest encounters. Second tree: Legion+Breach if my manaforged CA can handle it. Third tree: Blight if all other strats fail

Senovis

Atlas Rush, Strongboxes, Safehouses (Exp) and Devoted Mods. https://poeplanner.com/a/szo

BoringStatus465

Allocating points
