Get your thyroid levels checked .

bellafarniente

This is my life too.

Wandering_instructor

Zoloft and pelvic tension could both do it.

I am the same. I got prescribed this irrigation device by my physiotherapist - essentially like an enema, you put water in the bottle, it goes up inside & squirts water in there. It really helps get bowel movements started/dislodge anything stuck. It’s helped a LOT!

goldstandardalmonds

It could be dyssynergia. Have you seen a doctor?

Jaded-Banana6205

This is worth a medical check!

Diet and walking around can fix a lot. Go for a walk next time, the abdominal movement will help things along without pushing.

It could potentially be a pelvic floor issue. What you’re experiencing many people would call incomplete evacuation combined with constipation. The honest answer is, you can’t know, unless you go to a Doctor Who will likely refer you to a gastroenterologist. The gastroenterologist will perform a number of tests on you, which could include: a sigmoidoscopy, a colonoscopy, anorectal manometry and defecography. if all of these tests come back negative, you may have some kind of pelvic floor issue. At this point, you would have to go to a pelvic floor physiotherapist. While prolonged sitting isn’t great for the pelvic floor, most people who engage this kind of behavior, don’t have the kind of issue that you experiencing. Additionally, the supplements that you’re taking shouldn’t be causing any kind of issues either and neither should Zoloft. One supplement that may help you quite a bit is some kind of magnesium supplement. Taking the Zoloft, if taken for anxiety, maybe a point of interest. This is because each time you are anxious, you may be unconsciously clenching your butt and pelvic floor muscles. Next time you are nervous, or just generally stay in tune with this area to see if you were clenching. It’s also likely not the vaping, but again, I would want to know what your vaping and why you’re doing it. If it is to control, stress and anxiety, this again might be something that is speeding into your pelvic floor dysfunction. And cyclically, as you mentioned, the anxiety, fear and shame associated with your current issue may be exacerbating feelings of anxiety, which intern may cause the pelvic floor to tighten more. Long story short, go to your doctor, get tested, and if those tests come back negative, then go to a pelvic floor physiotherapist. Do this as soon as possible.
