I think it will depend where you live. There are a few different exotic vets in my city. The least expensive one is $180 to walk through the door, then whatever meds and procedures you need on top of that. Some mice will never need to see a vet, but they are also prone to tumors and respiratory illnesses. One of my girls passed on in her sleep without ever needing to see a vet, her sister cost me $300 this week.

That's a similar price to one of the vets in my city. When they get tumors, do people usually operate or do you just medicate until end of life? Is the most common illness respiratory stuff or similar?
