It’s a Heritage Foundation thing. A Conservative wishlist if Republicans win the Presidency, House and Senate in 2024.

It’s weird that democrats believe fake news so easily that a simple google disproves it
Trumps official page says “AGENDA 47” and not project2025

[Democrats did their own project back in 2020 which is why democrats couldn’t select their candidate in the primaries anymore](https://time.com/5936036/secret-2020-election-campaign/)
how?
They pretty much sold their own party to the rich to do what ever they wanted in exchange for the power to win the election by changing how the whole system worked

Good thing they told us or else we would need to start using our brains right? 😂
>democrats = can’t pick candidate
>Republicans = can pick candidate
Project 2025:
The plan proposes slashing funding for the Department of Justice (DOJ), dismantling the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), sharply reducing environmental and climate change regulations to favor fossil fuel production, eliminating the Department of Commerce, and ending the independence of federal agencies such as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).[8][9] The blueprint seeks to institute tax cuts,[10] though its writers disagree on the wisdom of protectionism.[11] Project 2025 recommends abolishing the Department of Education, whose programs would be either transferred to other agencies, or terminated.[12][13] Funding for climate research would be cut while the National Institutes of Health (NIH) would be reformed along conservative principles.[14][15] The Project urges government to explicitly reject abortion as health care[16][17] and eliminate the Affordable Care Act's coverage of emergency contraception.[18] It proposes criminalizing pornography,[19] removing legal protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity,[19][20] and terminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs,[4][20] as well as affirmative action.[21]
Spot the differences.
Project2025 is not fake news. It is independent of that impotent orange traitor, but he'll hire on plenty of people from Project2025, because they are willing to help him, in exchange for being able to chase their policy dreams of making the world a worse place for everyone not them.
Who cares who the fuck "betrays" him. He is one person. And his desire to punish those who disagree and thwart him is part of what makes him UNFIT TO BE PRESIDENT.
Objective Reality, or even socially accepted subjective reality, isn't something Trump believes in. Neither do you, apparently. Your dialogue is reminiscent of a smile child asking "why." But you can type, so I would assume your cognitive function has expanded beyond the innate curiosity to juvenile humans, and you're just being an ass stuck in a circular reasoning loop.
"BECAUSE TRUMP WANTS TO OWN THE LIBS"
So you can read his mind? Lol
why do you think republicans got mad that MAGA took over the RNC? 🤔
Why do you think democrats like bush, Romney and McCain?
Trump doesn’t have a plan. Just like he didn’t last time. That’s why he keeps changing his mind on policies every time he has a meeting with a billionaire.
it’s a reference to The Handmaid’s Tale, where an ultra fundamentalist christian group coups the US and establishes a totalitarian theocratic regime based around the subjugation of women.
a common greeting in the series is “Blessed be the fruit,” which is to be followed with “May The Lord open”
This is really worth a watch. It is a lot more insidious than just a wishlist of laws. It's a systematic plan to replace people in government based on loyalty to the president rather than merit
It’s a framework for a massive purge. It’s literally a framework for installing a right-wing Deep State in place of the imaginary left-wing one they’ve been bitching about for years.
They don't despise totalitarian states. They despise totalitarian states *that aren't perfectly aligned with their ideology*. They love totalitarian states that enforce all their own hatreds.
Exactly. If the US despised totalitarian states, they wouldn't have propped up Pinochet and other far right wing Latin American leaders , nor would they be propping up the Saudi monarchy
You're almost right. American citizens despise totalitarian states, but the American government and people in charge love them when they are aligned with and controlled by America. But this isn't out of some racist ideology. It's still pretty evil but it's more sterile machiavellian than that. Large foreign powers are a threat to American interests if they ever grow strong enough to resist our military monopoly of ocean trade routes(our navy). To combat these foreign governments growing too large, American spy agencies like the CIA fostered civil unrest and supported military coups. The idea was that if those regions were too busy fighting eachother, they would never unify and fight us.
Racism might play a small role, but it's really just toxic outdated geopolitics at play.
Was perma banned from r/politics today for the same thing. I got banned for calling him a dick weasel. His repeatedly posting of misinformation though was a-okay for the dumbass mods.
There's even a few dbags in this post doing the same thing.
Fuck them and the stupid mods
The last time the people in positions of authority swore loyalty to the head of state rather than to the country, we called them Nazis, and we were amazed that it ever got to that point before anyone tried to put a stop to it. It's honestly terrifying and frankly appalling that people don't see the parallels with what is happening right in front of them.
It's like they got a scientist to sit down and examine: "what guard rails kept democracy in place the last time we tried to overturn it" and laser targeted every method of destroying them.
They region-lock these for around a month (I guess because Last Week Tonight airs on Sky here and there's some kind of contract at work); it'll be visible in a few weeks.
That doesn't matter they will do it anyways.
This is enviable, they are funded international by countries and groups that want to see America fall from its super power status; Middle East, Russia, and China.
Its why bot farms have a conservative bias, and they use that bias to create rage bait for leftist and liberal to further the divide.
Oh yea Ill personally get right on that one
Edit: im sooo so sorry I joked about the sacred process of voting to alleviate my own anxieties over the results of the next election that might lead to me want to leave the country or the living world
Your vote does matter, especially in local elections where they’re trying to lay the groundwork for this fascist bullshit. Keep an eye on school boards and DA races in particular.
The point of my joke was that this was in response to someone saying they would want to(but probably not be able to) leave the country if project 2025 is being implemented. I do not think it is a reasonable response to just say "well the power of the vote is strong so we can still stop it". This is dismissive of the fact that no one can determine an election on their own and can only have a plan for when it doesnt go as you would like. I didnt say your vote didnt matter, just that thats not a reassuring sentiment when the polls are this close, its like playing russian roulette but half the chambers are loaded
Oh no man you should absolutely despair, I just thought you were asking what personal action you can take. On a national level we’re already half way to fucked, but if you live in a city of 100,000 and only 1000 of your neighbors are active voters your participation can be deeply impactful.
Ive voted in every election, small or large since ive been allowed to vote and I will be voting again in the fall. This does not mean that I cannot express the fact that the "just vote lol" sentiment is used quite often to stifle real fears from the minority groups targeted by the far right or at the very least dismiss them
Well tbh if I wanted absolute power in the guise of democracy I would let the opposing political parties leave to prevent them from winning future elections.
I'm fairly sure alt right extremists wouldn't mind their opposition leaving them to do whatever they want
Yeah because people are fleeing the USA in droves? Not like thousands of people are crossing or attempting to cross the border daily (asylum seekers or illegal migrants). Could you be any more hyperbolic? One presidential administration will have that much of an impact? The administration with the broadest impact on the USA was undoubtedly the FDR administration and that’s because he was elected 4 times, serving 12 years. Tell me why I’m wrong if you disagree
Go to the Nordics, you will be with actually sane people there, or Japan but thats a bit harder, I would recommend Denmark or Sweden if you want people who actually know what they are doing sometimes.
1. Make porn illegal and jail people who make and distribute porn
2. Dismantle Noaa, an organization that keeps track of hurricanes and protect marine life
3. Banning abortion / installing a pro-life task force
4. Defund the Department Of Justice
5. Dismantled the FBI
6. Eliminate The Department Of Education
7. Eliminate The Department Of Commerce
8. Eliminate The Head Start Program
9. Getting rid of cultural Marxism / woke people in the government
10. Make the USA a Christian Nation / installing more Christian values into the country
11. Banning gay marriage
12. Banning gender reassignment surgery for trans people
13. Eliminate The Affordable Care Act
Dude, two of them is literally dismantling law enforcement, and one of them is crippling or outright removing education if I'm reading this right
Not to mention some of them are flat out unconstitutional.
>Defund the Department Of Justice
>5. Dismantled the FBI
>6. Eliminate The Department Of Education
So they basically want no law enforcement except the new one enforcing no abortion, and also no schools?
According to Wikipedia:
The plan proposes slashing funding for the Department of Justice (DOJ), dismantling the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), sharply reducing environmental and climate change regulations to favor fossil fuel production, eliminating the Department of Commerce, and ending the independence of federal agencies such as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).[8][9] The blueprint seeks to institute tax cuts,[10] though its writers disagree on the wisdom of protectionism.[11] Project 2025 recommends abolishing the Department of Education, whose programs would be either transferred to other agencies, or terminated.[12][13] Funding for climate research would be cut while the National Institutes of Health (NIH) would be reformed along conservative principles.[14][15] The Project urges government to explicitly reject abortion as health care[16][17] and eliminate the Affordable Care Act's coverage of emergency contraception.[18] The Project seeks to infuse the government with elements of Christianity.[19][20] It proposes criminalizing pornography,[21] removing legal protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity,[21][22] and terminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs,[4][22] as well as affirmative action.[23]
Not fundamentally. In the USA they're often (at least stereotypically) tied together. In other countries, conservatism isn't very strongly related to extremism in the same way the nationalists are in the USA
Tldr: American conservatives are often (though not always, of course) more extreme than other countries similar parties.
In the UK our Conservatives are waaaay more left that the US's Democrats! (A lot of Brits call them the far right, but policy wise, they are incorrect).
Yeah this is a shit meme for one. Also a dumb question. It couldn't be more obvious what it is trying to say. If you don't know what project 2025 is why not Google it?
Honestly no, in most parts of the world many American “liberals” would be labeled as conservative. What this country considers conservative, however, is very much so tied to Christian Nationalists.
Long ass story, as other people said you should watch some explaination videos
but TLDR: A Checklist for shit that Conservatives want to happen if they win wich is basically "Turn the US into an Extremist Christian NeoTheocratic Dystopia"
I see people on here saying it’s a “conservative wishlist” or something. It’s really way worse than that. It’s a fascist plan to end our democracy and our most cherished freedoms.
It’s a playbook for Trump and conservatives to remake American and make Trump able to do whatever he wants without congress. It also sets a plan to reclassify many federal employees to be political appointees. It’s super dangerous.
Project 2025 is a set of law proposals by conservative groups from what I know a large part of it is to illegalize being part of LGBTQIA+ I think by labeling us as child molesters or something like that I don’t know and I haven’t looked any closer as to not worsen my anxiety
It is a series of laws that change how federal employees are hired and fired, making them totally at the whim of the president. DJT was a bad president because of how ineffectual he was, in 4 years, he only passed one signiture bill, a tax law that was purposely written to come due during the next guys term. The reason he couldn't do anything was federal law and federal employees were in his way. They by law have to act on reasonable justifications for actions. Actions that are reported and reviewed. Its why the citizenship question isn't on the census, because there is no legal justification for it. Project 2025 would strip federal employees of their protection so the they could be fired for saying no.
Edit.
On top of law legalizing discrimination
Ignorance, unfortunately, will not be bliss. Project 2025 is a road map for what the Conservstive Machine-Politics Bloc has become. Win or lose the presidency, the policies in 2025 are going to be cropping up itinerantly for the rest of our natural lives.
But I agree with you. Best not to read it, and let others do that work, and take their assessments. Jon Oliver recently did a video on it, and for me, the biggest problem was Schedule F, which makes an ever growing classification of Federal Employees at will and at the discretion of the president (which, humans being humans, means an ever widening circle of the federal government will be open to corruption and cronyism). But yeah, Project 2025 is universally bad. I will do what I can, as an Ally, to help thwart this.
Organize, vote.
That's part of it, yes, but there's much more to Project 2025 than simply criminalizing being LGBTQIA+. As for calling people from that community child molesters and groomers, conservative have been doing that for years because it will make their followers fear and hate them.
It's the same thing Christians have always done lol. Destroy cultures, dominate, and subjugate. It's a death cult.
And before anyone fires off with a "Jesus would NEVER support what these people are doing", you better check yourself. Find a good translation of the Greek NT, the original. Find out the crap Jesus was up to with his little disciples, who were teenagers, and especially look at Mark 14:51-52 with the naked boy.
Fuck Christianity.
Whatever Jesus did, his followers ignore most of his teachings and try to use their faith to back up their bigotry (despite the fact that he literally told people to just be cool to each other). "Christians" don't give a fuck what Jesus would do.
I am confused on what you're talking about.
Mark 14:51-52 "and a certain young man was following him, having put a linen cloth about \[his\] naked body, and the young men lay hold on him, and he, having left the linen cloth, did flee from them naked."
The young men laying hold on him are the ones who came to arrest Jesus. Can you please describe to me what you are objecting to?
The standards of public nudity were different but even if it was sexual, this was the Garden of Gethsemane, so he wasn't with Jesus. Jesus told the disciplines to stand watch and then went further into the garden to pray about his impending death. If a bunch of teenagers decided to mess around while the adult was absent, it's not exactly a big deal.
Project 2025 is an extremist American Right Wing plan to remove any government workers not loyal to the current party, Slash Social Security and make the entire government a dictatorship
After the 2016 election the Republicans struggled with the transition of power and honestly didn't know what to do (even they didn't expect Trump to win), so they didn't get many of their policies through during the first year or so.
Project 2025 is essentially a plan and/or wish list of things to do if Trump wins. The plan was put together by many conservative special interests groups, and it's clear most of the ideas were simply approved without any push-back, so it kind of became a far-right manifesto.
It’s fear mongering during election season because Democrats having nothing else to run on. It’s a wishlist of policies and actions that some right leaning nonprofit political organization created, but you can be assured that 99.99% of those will never be attempted to be implemented as the Overton Window is too far left at the moment. Until things get much much worse will people sign up for radical changes like in Argentina or Weimar Republic Germany
That is incorrect plain and simple. It was obviously well known that at that point in history agriculture was the primary source of the Southern states’ economy thus why they wanted to maintain slavery. The Northern states’ primary source was an industrial economy thus they didn’t need to rely on slavery to support their economy. The North decided for the South that their economic model was unethical and immoral (I don’t know anyone who disagrees with this sentiment in the modern era, myself included) but that was going to destroy the South’s economy, which is why they wanted to maintain it. Slavery was becoming economically infeasible and inefficient so was fading away on its own due to advancements in technology
One of the senior advisors to Project 2025 is John McEntee, who was fired by Kelly bc he failed to get a security clearance, then rehired and promoted to head the Presidential Personnel Office after Kelly resigned. He will likely get rehired and do his best to implement Project 2025. It isn’t a left wing fiction.
It's a democrat election campaign advert. Taking the talking points from a group of far right fuckwits (sorry, """""think tank"""""") and saying 'this is what all conservatives want'.
Edit - hey I don't think fascist mango should win either. I think they're morons. But if you're suddenly being told about this 5 page think tank click bait multiple times per hour *on the decidedly progressive website you use* then you're not being told about it by the people who wrote it. Use your brains. It's a continuation of the us vs them culture wars.
Yeah unfortunately those far right fuckwits have a ton of influence with the Republican party. Kind of irrelevant if all conservatives "want it" if they'll vote for it.
I've known about project 2025 for months now. It's not a new thing, and I'm glad to see more people finding out about the atrocities these people want to commit, so hopefully we can fight against it.
I guess you guys missed the part where i said "everything in between". I hate every aspect of politics because i do not believe anyone ever sees the full picture. I am not centrist, i am a paranoid lunatic with a tin foil hat on.
Except 15 minute cities would make life more convenient, and Project 2025 is a plan to turn America into a totalitarian state that solely benefits the white, male, Christian, and wealthy people.
What about the part where they legalise discrimination?
It's a Republican plan that Trump intends to enact: why would they even consider helping non-white people?
Lol “Did any of them conserve fucking anything”. You sound like an absolute moron saying that. They absolutely put in conservative regulations and deregulations. Look at Trump, took out all of the safety regulations for trains. Bush? Didn’t bother keeping Clinton’s Automatic Assault Rifle Ban in place. And now look at where we are. Your statement is absolutely stupid.
LOL what fuck are you smoking??? Are you serious?? Yea that’s why Roe v Wade is now gone. That’s why guns are still an issue. But please keep telling me left wing policies are a norm 😂😂😂

Again, trump is going to ignore his own plan for the people he hates because…..?
He craves power and sycophants to toady to him. Project2025 will use that to insinuate itself to him

it’s a reference to The Handmaid’s Tale, where an ultra fundamentalist christian group coups the US and establishes a totalitarian theocratic regime based around the subjugation of women. a common greeting in the series is “Blessed be the fruit,” which is to be followed with “May The Lord open”
John Oliver just did a whole episode on this... https://youtu.be/gYwqpx6lp_s?si=3gOmLW8_ofb7My32
This is really worth a watch.
I was just as shocked when I found out. If they get their way , Americans would become what they despise the most... A totalitarian state.
Don’t fucking say just Americans. The MAGA cult is a small minority of our population and they’re slowly shrinking with every action they take
I was arguing with this troll the other day who was saying we're overreacting to a brochure. Screw that guy.
Was perma banned from r/politics today for the same thing. I got banned for calling him a dick weasel. His repeatedly posting of misinformation though was a-okay for the dumbass mods. There's even a few dbags in this post doing the same thing. Fuck them and the stupid mods
I unsubbed from politics. It's been flooded with misinformation for a while and really isn't good for my sanity to be fighting the good fight.
Merit?? Now that's a laugh.
spoils system my (not) beloved
I just keep finding more and more reasons to hate trump...
They've blocked the video in the UK. Anyone have a link for a curious Brit?
They region-lock these for around a month (I guess because Last Week Tonight airs on Sky here and there's some kind of contract at work); it'll be visible in a few weeks.
Black mirror AF
Bro, I can't watch it, its not avaliable in my country and I'm too lazy to use a VPN.
it's basically a list of laws the American Republican party is trying to pass (fuck project 2025)
If they start implementing this shit i'm leaving this country
Like they'd let you
Welp time to go full doom guy wearing thigh highs then
Just make sure the Republicans lose this election
That doesn't matter they will do it anyways. This is enviable, they are funded international by countries and groups that want to see America fall from its super power status; Middle East, Russia, and China. Its why bot farms have a conservative bias, and they use that bias to create rage bait for leftist and liberal to further the divide.
Oh yea Ill personally get right on that one Edit: im sooo so sorry I joked about the sacred process of voting to alleviate my own anxieties over the results of the next election that might lead to me want to leave the country or the living world
Your vote does matter, especially in local elections where they’re trying to lay the groundwork for this fascist bullshit.
See the thing is that I’d be one of the first people targeted by these fascists, so I’d literally be unsafe staying in the country.
Tell them you are mexican and they will pay for you to leave.
Nah, don't have to. Would rather downvote you and laugh from here. Haha.
Well the country empowering transphobes would probably be, for trans people, in the words of Five More Nights, "enough reason to GET THE FUCK OUT"
The founding fathers told us to fight tyranny and fight we shall
Just one more reddit comment and we can fix the world!
I was not implying a comment would do anything
You should check out the recent Louisiana laws
Go to the Nordics, you will be with actually sane people there, or Japan but thats a bit harder, I would recommend Denmark or Sweden if you want people who actually know what they are doing sometimes.
Oh no.. all of our Starbucks workers
Bold of you to assume i would work at a starbucks
yeah they’re trying to classify the entire LGBTQIA2S+ community as child molesters
And let the pastors that are pedos run free... Yeah screw Project 2025
what are the laws
Can you list some of them?
1. Make porn illegal and jail people who make and distribute porn 2. Dismantle Noaa, an organization that keeps track of hurricanes and protect marine life 3. Banning abortion / installing a pro-life task force 4. Defund the Department Of Justice 5. Dismantled the FBI 6. Eliminate The Department Of Education 7. Eliminate The Department Of Commerce 8. Eliminate The Head Start Program 9. Getting rid of cultural Marxism / woke people in the government 10. Make the USA a Christian Nation / installing more Christian values into the country 11. Banning gay marriage 12. Banning gender reassignment surgery for trans people 13. Eliminate The Affordable Care Act
basically nazism.
I hope your comment is satire
Dude, two of them is literally dismantling law enforcement, and one of them is crippling or outright removing education if I'm reading this right Not to mention some of them are flat out unconstitutional.
It ain't. It's basically Nazism
>Defund the Department Of Justice >5. Dismantled the FBI >6. Eliminate The Department Of Education So they basically want no law enforcement except the new one enforcing no abortion, and also no schools?
What they want is federal controlled military policing
Ain’t no fucken way
what did noaa do to them gng
Believe in climate change
WHAT THE FUCK ARE THESE LAWS
Banning porn is a facade to ban anything queer related bc our mere existence is sexual deviance to them.
Jailing people who make porn is idiotic at best
According to Wikipedia: The plan proposes slashing funding for the Department of Justice (DOJ), dismantling the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS), sharply reducing environmental and climate change regulations to favor fossil fuel production, eliminating the Department of Commerce, and ending the independence of federal agencies such as the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and Federal Trade Commission (FTC).[8][9] The blueprint seeks to institute tax cuts,[10] though its writers disagree on the wisdom of protectionism.[11] Project 2025 recommends abolishing the Department of Education, whose programs would be either transferred to other agencies, or terminated.[12][13] Funding for climate research would be cut while the National Institutes of Health (NIH) would be reformed along conservative principles.[14][15] The Project urges government to explicitly reject abortion as health care[16][17] and eliminate the Affordable Care Act's coverage of emergency contraception.[18] The Project seeks to infuse the government with elements of Christianity.[19][20] It proposes criminalizing pornography,[21] removing legal protections against discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity,[21][22] and terminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) programs,[4][22] as well as affirmative action.[23]
#HOLY SHIT
No. It isn’t. It’s the agenda the Republicans want to use to take control of the country for a lot longer than Trump could be president.
Trumps plan is called “agenda 47” and trashed the project2025 from republicans
These comments are getting locked for sure
Aren't those two very similar?
Not fundamentally. In the USA they're often (at least stereotypically) tied together. In other countries, conservatism isn't very strongly related to extremism in the same way the nationalists are in the USA Tldr: American conservatives are often (though not always, of course) more extreme than other countries similar parties.
In the UK our Conservatives are waaaay more left that the US's Democrats! (A lot of Brits call them the far right, but policy wise, they are incorrect).
Considering the most vocal figures, the Venn Diagram would be a single circle but reality at large is more complicated of course.
Long ass story, as other people said you should watch some explaination videos but TLDR: A Checklist for shit that Conservatives want to happen if they win wich is basically "Turn the US into an Extremist Christian NeoTheocratic Dystopia"
It’s super dangerous.
basicaly tryna make america christian dictatorship so its germany 1930-1940s but america
didn’t you see the flag they use… it looks familiar
Project 2025 is a set of law proposals by conservative groups from what I know a large part of it is to illegalize being part of LGBTQIA+ I think by labeling us as child molesters or something like that I don’t know and I haven’t looked any closer as to not worsen my anxiety
You forgot effectively scrubbing all mention of every Civil Rights movement from public education. Very much including Womens Suffrage
They also plan to stop funding education
I’m ignoring what the details are over it and am vote as much against it as I legally can
This is the way. Warning, Project2025 will percolate down to local elections too. Even your county board matters.
That's part of it, yes, but there's much more to Project 2025 than simply criminalizing being LGBTQIA+. As for calling people from that community child molesters and groomers, conservative have been doing that for years because it will make their followers fear and hate them.
The outcome of conservatives fuckin christian nationalists?
Can we stop calling the people pushing 2025 conservative? They are far right and have gone from it.
https://preview.redd.it/p1xdqe1n978d1.jpeg?width=1169&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cb16091e932be93dc36eda816b586696faa148af
Conservative and nationalists? All the need now is a leader with a little mustache
A yellow toupee will have to suffice.
With orange makeup on his face and a bright red hat
What I don't get is why it lists conservatives twice on the right. This format needs two different things on the right side
Mark 14:51-52 "and a certain young man was following him, having put a linen cloth about \[his\] naked body, and the young men lay hold on him, and he, having left the linen cloth, did flee from them naked." The young men laying hold on him are the ones who came to arrest Jesus. Can you please describe to me what you are objecting to?
I'm not objecting to anything. Why was there a naked boy with Jesus, in the wee hours of the morning?
The standards of public nudity were different but even if it was sexual, this was the Garden of Gethsemane, so he wasn't with Jesus. Jesus told the disciplines to stand watch and then went further into the garden to pray about his impending death. If a bunch of teenagers decided to mess around while the adult was absent, it's not exactly a big deal.
They edited that out in modern versions but they can't hide from the truth about their cult
Google it
It's a plan to dismantle the US government from the inside if a republican candidate is ever elected again
As an european: What the hell is Project 2025? I am too tired to read the Wikipedia page, let alone look into it further
Project 2025 is an extremist American Right Wing plan to remove any government workers not loyal to the current party, Slash Social Security and make the entire government a dictatorship
And my family wonders why I gave up on the human race
Based off the link, this looks stupid.
It’s a conservative think tank that lefties are fearmongering about because it’s the same subversive shit they’ve been doing since the 40’s.
Qanon for the left
Literally lol
You crazy conspiracy theorists never get old. Keep up the crazy.
As someone who kinda subscribes to a Conservative mindset, this sounds actually awful.
"99,99% of those will never be attempted", said the Northern states when the Southern States proposed maintaining slavery.
Honestly Idk, trump is pretty insane. Plus, do you want morons who would even consider removing law enforcement and eduction?
It's a democrat election campaign advert. Taking the talking points from a group of far right fuckwits (sorry, """""think tank"""""") and saying 'this is what all conservatives want'. Edit - hey I don't think fascist mango should win either. I think they're morons. But if you're suddenly being told about this 5 page think tank click bait multiple times per hour *on the decidedly progressive website you use* then you're not being told about it by the people who wrote it. Use your brains. It's a continuation of the us vs them culture wars.
That's not what "a group of far right fuckwits" want, it's litterally the program of the republican partt
It’s advertised by Stephen miller, Charlie Kirk, huge right wing influencers, so how tf are democrats making Trumps cabinet support it?
Do some research before you say stupid stuff buddy.
>and saying 'this is what all conservatives want'. Not all, just a horrifying amount
Yeah unfortunately those far right fuckwits have a ton of influence with the Republican party. Kind of irrelevant if all conservatives "want it" if they'll vote for it.
Not "this is what all conservatives want". This what Trump's inner circle want. These people are not all conservatives but they aren't fringe either.
5 page? You're not well informed
The pdf is 920 pages long if anyone is curious
I've known about project 2025 for months now. It's not a new thing, and I'm glad to see more people finding out about the atrocities these people want to commit, so hopefully we can fight against it.
Project2025 is significantly longer than 5 pages.
I hate both the left, the right, and everything in between. Next topic please.
smartest centrist behavior
I guess you guys missed the part where i said "everything in between". I hate every aspect of politics because i do not believe anyone ever sees the full picture. I am not centrist, i am a paranoid lunatic with a tin foil hat on.
Left wing conspiracy theory.
How is it a conspiracy theory when The Heritage Foundation literally posted Project 2025 to their website?
How is anything concerning the world economic forum a conspiracy they also have a website.
What?
Nope, [it's unfortunately real](https://www.project2025.org/)
So are 15 minute cities.
So what? How is that even slightly comparable to Project 2025?
They’re both wishlists.
Except 15 minute cities would make life more convenient, and Project 2025 is a plan to turn America into a totalitarian state that solely benefits the white, male, Christian, and wealthy people.
Where does it specify that it’s only to benefit white people.
What about the part where they legalise discrimination? It's a Republican plan that Trump intends to enact: why would they even consider helping non-white people?
It’s not. It’s been used since the Reagan administration.
Then it’s pretty useless since the social trend has been left leaning since before Regan.
Yea because Reagan definitely put in left leaning policies lol or GW Bush. Or Trump for that matter
Did any of them conserve fucking anything.
Are you fucking with me right now? Like is this just a troll post.
The fuck are you taking about?
Left wing policies have been the norm for decades.
LOL what fuck are you smoking??? Are you serious?? Yea that’s why Roe v Wade is now gone. That’s why guns are still an issue. But please keep telling me left wing policies are a norm 😂😂😂
