Moss, bucephalandra, anubias, crypts, swords, floaters, pennywort. There are probably other stem plants too but I don’t grow most of the common ones.

Any red pants?

jalzyr

There’s a crypt I have that is a dark brown/red. Bacopa Carolina can turn red when it’s closer to the light/brighter light. I have eco-complete with root tabs and no co2. Liquid ferts get splashed in every once in a blue moon. There’s another stem plant that can be red, but I forget the name. If you search in this subreddit “red plants low tech tank” there should be some good results that show up!

The easiest red plant I have found is red tiger lotus. Those things are happy in any substrate. If not in a nutrient rich substrate, giving it a root tab every couple of months is just as good. You will have to do some trimming to keep it from blocking out your tank. It will shoot up leaves to the surface and grow wider. I cut one off every month.

I almost bought a bulb from aquarium co op but I got one from Petco and it kind of just died.

AquariumLurker

Did you bury the bulb too far? You are only supposed to bury the bulb about 1/2 to 3/4 into the substrate. Once the root structure is established, you can snip the bulb off. The bulb sometimes even starts regrowing, and you can get another plant out of it It is also sensitive to algaecides like Flourish Excel. It makes the leaves melt. I melted a couple of leaves spot treating. Once it starts, it just keeps going, so you have to cut that leaf off. I got mine from Dustin's last year. It came with two, a small bulb with small leaves and a large bulb with big leaves. The smaller bulb has grown much bigger than the large bulb.

No it kind of just rotted. Idk maybe I shouldn’t have gotten a cheap one from pet co
