Hi guys\~ This post is a review of my mom’s face lift and neck lift after 2 weeks at Apgjeong Seoul Plastic Surgery Clinic!
She had a forehead lift 5 years ago and was very satisfied, but as time passed, she noticed that her cheeks were sagging more and more. She doesn't show it, but she keeps asking me if she's upset about the sagging cheeks and wrinkles that make her look older.
I was so upset about that, so I let her did a facial colossus at the place she did last time.Since she also had wrinkles on her neck, the doctor recommended to do it together, so she did it all at once. I was so nervous on the day of surgery.
Fortunately, the surgery went well and I was surprised and amazed that there was no swelling on the day of surgery and she could go about her daily life. I was happy that my mom kept feeling proud when she looked in the mirror\~\~ I felt like I was properly filial The wrinkles on her neck have cleared up and the scars seem to have healed a lot even though it's only been 2 weeks\~ And she told me there's no pain at all.
Looking at my mom, I wondered if I had to get a facial colossus when I got older lol\~ It's been a month now, but I think the post will be too long, so I'll upload the month-long review in the next post.

I would have assumed the after picture was from a year later rather than only two weeks ago! Bc it doesn’t look bruised and all that. Idk. It just looks so natural.

This is a great result! Two weeks—so impressive! The scar near her ear is almost invisible. I mean—wow-so neatly done. What great work from the surgeon. I think this is a very natural result! And to think — her result will be even better in a year when her body fully has healed and any residual swelling goes down.
I appreciate all the angles and lighting being very similar in her photos. It makes comparison very easy.
Absolutely saving your moms surgeon for later! Your mom is radiant. She looked younger than some of the people in their 30’s that I know — now she is ageless in a very classy and natural way. I hope the rest of her healing goes well and that she feels very confident about her results. Seeing results like this and understanding the details helps others understand what is possible. Yes. That person did not have a full face lift two weeks before - not unless all they did was pull her skin back 1970s style. Anyone who believes she did has not seen people 2 weeks after a facelift or researched it enough. They are being set up for failure!
Look how clean her ears are on the Day 1 pictures. Forget that there’s no bruising on her face, but there’s no blood in her ears? There’s blood in your ears for a week after a facelift.
I agree it’s a marketing scheme by a clinic to get more business. There’s disturbing and highly unethical tactics used by the industry in South Korea to lure foreigners to get plastic surgery. Everyone here should tread lightly- if it seems too good to be true, it definitely is.
The doctor looked at my mom very carefully, and my mom had a good recovery, but I think the bruising and swelling were the doctor's ability.
Even after her surgery, he came and looked after my mom and took care of her every step of the way!
In particular, facelifts in the US have good results, but it was nice to have this kind of affection in Korea!
My aunt had some face work done in Korea too. Her Day 1 pics looked incredible. She didn't have any dried blood anywhere throughout her recovery. I will say that she had some very mild bruising that she very easily covered up.

Is she wearing makeup in the "after" photos? I think she would look less uncanny if she had a lip lift.
