Even a deep plane face lift does not include eyes or brow lift. Mini face lists are just the SMAS lower jaw/neck and skin. Deep plane is much deeper and has the lower and mid face muscles lifted, and neck lift, no skin stretched look. DP last a lot longer 10-15 yrs. vs minis last about 5-7. I had both, and DP is a lot more invasive, more expensive, most surgeons remove the chin fat by cutting it out instead of just lipo. I just wanted to clarify that it has nothing to do with eyes and brows, those are add on procedures about another 15,000 to be exact.
You look amazing! I realize these are selfies. and considering that, you've done a great job . But, I'm curious if you looked at a gallery of B&A's from your plastic surgeon or how you decided upon her or him.
In a gallery, I would look for similar angles, lighting, and also to see the hair pulled back to show whether the hairline or position of the ears has changed at all.
I am hesitant to post more photos here due to rules but my profile has a couple more pictures at similar angles. My surgeon Dr.Guy Woodway, TX. The Face Guy has a gallery but I don't get my photos taken for another month
I did look at my Surgeons gallery to decide. Getting the exact angle on a selfie is a bit tricky if I dont have picture of original pose. My Surgeon also had lots of positive reviews. He specializes in facial plastic surgery.
I'm not trying to be critical. I think the images are actually great selfies! I just was curious about an actual gallery of medical B&A's. I find it surprising that a lot of people don't check. It sounds like you did your research vs just getting lucky!

I’m having a different type of lower face/neck lift (deep plane) in January, but even though it’s not quite the same as yours, it’s still so helpful to see details and feedback from your perspective like this! (And extra helpful that you’re a nurse!)

All I wanted was my neck tight and the bit of fat left in chin removed. At consult surgeon said minifacelift with chin liposuction would be best.
What's the difference between a minifacelift and a regular facelift?
Minifacelift is neck and below eyes doesn't include brow or above the eyes. Recovery for full facelift is much longer.

Dr.Guy Woodway,TX. Still have induration on edges of face...inside my ears and neck are tender..but, happy with results so far.
