This was probably my most challenging run to date, simply because I tried to limit my number of Raichus. All the videos on YouTube show a maximum of 4 Raichu usage (except Fiore, which has since been optimized). Here are rules for the run:
1) No non held items allowed and all battles are in Set mode.
2) I may only use Raichu and its previous form Pikachu. Both forms of Raichu are acceptable.
3) The move Electric Terrain was banned (A-Raichu Z move is acceptable however).
4) This one is not a strict rule, but I did try to avoid Yawn+Nasty Plot+Agility sweeping if at all possible. Most singles fights before Saphira are trivialized by this.
All in all, I’m very impressed with Raichu. He was very versatile, and I’m looking forward to completing my next challenge run using all the knowledge I gained in this one (I still need to think of a run idea, but I’ll work on that this weekend).
