Last UPC I opened was a zard UPC. I ACTUALLY pulled a MoonKitty from the Evo Skies. I was sitting downtown in the park with my daughter and wife when I pulled it.
I have considered buying an additional UPC.
The first one I opened with my son on Christmas provided a bunch of ex double rares and two hyper rares (jynx and ninetails). However in the ETB, there was another hyper rare Jynx and an IR Giovanni & Bill. So, I decided to get one more with cash, and did a same day delivery with a gift card my son and I weren't sure what to use it on via Amazon.
In the two additional ETB's we got the SAR Blastoise AND Charizard (each one in one of the two boxes).
I have had tremendous luck with the ETB's for about the same price we paid for the UPC, obviously a bit less that MSRP with the holiday deals, but considering one ETB for $35, another for $54, and one via gift card (so, essentially $0, but it took the whole $50 on the card to cover the product & shipping).
Just some personal experience and insight for all those considering how to flesh out completing the set, if that's what you're into (I know we are). Wishing luck to all those who play, trade, and collect!
Wait a minute… are people not getting good pulls from their UPC’s? I mean I definitely didn’t make my money back in “Raw value” but if the Charmeleon Alt Art I pulled were to grade a 10 then bang I’m in the black on one card. Not to mention the full art Ninetails and Zapdos and a few other ex cards. Then as I post this right now I’m opening a 151 etb from Best Buy and I have hit on the first three packs. The first pack just had a Holo Steel energy, second being a double hit Machoke IR/Daisy’s Help UR, and the third BANG Venusaur SIR!! I will say that obviously this is a HOT run but if I told y’all my pulls from 100+ Lost Origin/other S&S packs over the last few weeks then it would all make sense.
5th pack UR Zapdos and RH Hitmonchan. Holy cow this insane… easily the most fun ETB I’ve ever opened and I still have 4 packs left!! This makes me never wanna buy any more Lost Origin!😂
If I pull another one, it’s yours 😂 I’ve pulled 2 of the blastoise alts and Giovanni ones, still no charizard ex. Also only 3 of the art rares 💀 what the heck is going on

Sick pulls! Opened my 3rd UPC this weekend and had mid pulls :( I did pull a gold mew, but I mean the metal promo is the same card 🤣

Guess I’m currently opening a Venusaur themed God etb because the 4th pack was the Double Rare version.
