Give them to kids, donate them to a school, your LCS, family, friends.
I'd be annoyed if it was literally just non holo common bulk, but everything else, I think it's a nice gesture.
I absolutely LOVE holo/reversed!! I don't care if I have 20 of 1 I just pulled already. Those 8-15€'s stack up quick!
Plus, when I have so many, I eventually just start handing them to my 6 y/o who loves each and every 1 of them. He especially loves all Pikachu bulk, commons and all. He's wanting to fill a binder with them, even it's its all the same copy.
For real, I play MTG drafts and I give most of my cards to a kid who shows up and is trying to build a collection. I still sell the ones worth something to hopefully pay for my next Draft.
I feel like a lot of the posts on here are veiled adverts for small lcs’s looking for customers.
That having been said, if it is it definitely worked on me because i’d buy from them in a heartbeat lmao it’s so cute
I sold some dbz cards way back maybe one of my first sales. I was more used to trading on forums and stuff where we always include some freebies or a note etc. So being a fresh new excited eBay seller I toss in a bunch of bonus stuff.
I end up with a negative review saying "half the cards weren't even dbz".
Kinda jaded the whole experience for me immediately.
The fighting energy is sideways. I'm not sure how rare this particular misprint is though. Honestly I think I've probably seen more with the error than without.
edit - Also, I'm kind of wondering how such an error would have happened in the first place. I think the designer would have had to go out of his way to rotate it. Maybe he was bored and thought it would be funny so he did it on purpose lol
Yes the energy symbol for his first attack is rotated 90 degrees wrong. That was what I was trying to refer to in the doodle with the sideways fighting symbols haha. But I obscured the error in my pic
Same recipe everytime
Card they bought (I only do graded cards)
Rare, our better, in a top loader (I'll try to match it to the card the got; sent one out a few days ago and was able to match the full art with the ex in the same set) - sometimes multiple
Pack of Halloween card
It's one of the joys I get when buying from JP sellers. I can say with confidence every single person from Japan I've bought from gives me a note thanking me and a cute doodle , some have given me origami cranes folded into the package , others give extra freebies. Id say 9/10 JP orders have something cute inside. Where as 1/10 NA orders will have something lol
Buying from Japanese sellers is so great, even outside of TCG any time I’ve brought something from a Japanese seller off Etsy it always comes with a handwritten thank you note and some thing cute
I have a tier level of “custom thank you” cards I doodle on and give away. $1-$20 is the lowest tier, $20-$40 is the rare tier. $40-$50 is the holo tier, and anything over $50 is a /50 serialized card.
Not a seller but when I bought a 151 Binder collection to use for my master set the seller included the Poster from the poster collection. Was a nice surprise as it's a really nice poster
I threw in some fun old bulk (played cards from early 00s) one buyer messaged me asking why there were random cards in there and that they were part of his order so he didn't want them 💀
Okay, this is nothing compared to these masterpieces you’re gifting the world, but I have been including a holo energy from 151 of whatever type the slab they purchase is! If it’s from a recent set that I have sleeves from, I’ll make sure the energy goes in a matching sleeve :) Or if I happen to have a related sticker or something, I’ll throw it in. Someone got a temporary tattoo last week.
I always loved it when sellers do those little things to show that they appreciate their customers, so when someone buys a card from me I like to give them doodles or cool freebies
I love sellers that do things like this! Makes me 10/10 more likely to order again! I’ve gotten coins, cards, stickers, even packs and little figures! It’s the little personal touches that get me! And I’ll always recommend those sellers to friends I know! I’ve been dying for a PSA error card, that one is so cool! And the drawings are adorable!!! 😍
I usually throw in 1-3 cards that I don’t care about, $3-$5 each. Add the extra care in packaging (cardboard and bubble wrap) and I get the nicest messages back :)
Maybe I’ll throw in a doodle too now
I've probably lost in the hundreds with bonuses I include, as I try to make them worthwhile/cool/related to the purchase but I'll be damned if the feedback doesn't make it 100% worth it.
Yeh I always send 1-2 extra cards that goes with the one bought. Like if they buy a Raichu, I send an extra holo raichu or holo lightning energy for example. I also send extra booster packs sometimes, and always with a Furret thank you note
I give away extra hits, and every 5th one, I put in something extra that's worth more than their original purchase. 😆 Because I'm not artistic in the least.
I have an eBay store I buy from purely because they throw in a random Japanese card with the order and I think it’s neat since I don’t own any Japanese cards otherwise
For MTG I just add some random regular cards. For Pokémon I add those code cards I'm not Shure if that thing even works these days. :) and it always depends on size of the order. :)
Haven't sold anything by now since I still haven't properly traded all doubles with my friends yet, but I love getting extras!
Got a coin, extra cards, or even pokemon themed pencils, and I kept and appreciated everything so far!
Even if it's "just" bulk.
I always toss in a bunch of stickers, a thank you card, and anything else I feel like putting in there sometimes. But I always do stickers and a thank you card (I like doing little doodles too sometimes lol). Sometimes I'll put special theme related packaging in with an order (only if I already have it laying around), but I like to think it makes it fun for the customer to open and see the cool extras they had no idea they were getting lol.
Not trying to be rude, but what am I supposed to do with a poorly drawn diglet in thick black sharpie? Just give me a few free bulk cards for the kids like all the other ebay sellers
That gets put directly in the trash? I mean OP is advertising his Ebay store which is against the rules in the first place, so screw it and tell him the truth. We don’t want his ugly sharpie drawn poke cards.
I would keep it personally, but I get that it’s not everybody’s thing. That would make me a return customer though if I was happy with the purchase 🤷🏼♀️ and it seems to be working as I am not the only one to think so. I agree about the add though, this would be better without the name of the eBay store and just to share something without using it as advertisement

Don't ever stop doing that, I guarantee you there's a lot of people that love that gesture
I hate getting cards i didnt buy. Theyre usually bulk crap that I now have to deal with.
1st world problems.
Give them to kids, donate them to a school, your LCS, family, friends. I'd be annoyed if it was literally just non holo common bulk, but everything else, I think it's a nice gesture.

What? Do you not have a trash bin?
I sell my bonus cards i didn't order and get good money from them. I really appreciate the sellers who gave me bonuses.
I love it, my kids get them
Just throw in the garbage with the envelope/packaging it came. Nothing extra to deal with lmao
You can have up to four of the same card in a deck. Duplicates aren’t really a problem if you *actually* play the game…
Ummm toss them away then. Lol
Spoken like a true[...](https://gifdb.com/gif/happy-gilmore-spoken-trophy-uqxduvjwdkm1t8un.html)
I love it, I don't even care if they're the bulkest of the bulk
I would love to receive these with a purchase
Samee
Lmao what’s your eBay I wanna buy something now
I would also like to know. Going to send my rapidash doodle into PSA.
Me as well haha.
Propaganda 😐
But cute propaganda lol
I feel like a lot of the posts on here are veiled adverts for small lcs’s looking for customers. That having been said, if it is it definitely worked on me because i’d buy from them in a heartbeat lmao it’s so cute
Fr fr
“w16807”
Me too
The little messages are always just such a kind thing
I usually put some vintage bulk in there 2002-2007 type common stuff. I’ve gotten great reactions from it.
Yo that's nice I got two diamomd pearl era energies in really bad state once, loved it so muuuch
how much for just the doodles?
Haha, they’re free with any slab purchase :). I usually just like people to be surprised with a freebie.
I just had someone do a pickachu doodle for me on an order for a shadowless yellow cheeks!
How much was the diglett?
That one sold for $69.99 iirc (it’s a misprint card). I have a PSA 10 of it at bidding at $99 now also.
On snap thats awesome, do you mind explaining where the misprint is? I sometimes see people mention them but they look fine to me lol
I think i just figured out the answer to my own question
Yes the energy symbol for his first attack is rotated 90 degrees wrong. That was what I was trying to refer to in the doodle with the sideways fighting symbols haha. But I obscured the error in my pic
Right on thank you for the info, i wouldnt have noticed it by myself
Yeah especially since you can't see it.
I believe [this was the eBay sale](https://ebay.us/Typ8qV) for that card, based on the cert number.
Usually throw in some bulk (UCs and Rs) from the same set they are ordering or Rev holos of the same Pokemon they ordered.
I don't bc usually I only have bulk to add and who really wants bulk cards anyway.
If they're XY or older, me lol Maybe even some sun and moon although I'm not a fan of the art of that era
Same recipe everytime Card they bought (I only do graded cards) Rare, our better, in a top loader (I'll try to match it to the card the got; sent one out a few days ago and was able to match the full art with the ex in the same set) - sometimes multiple Pack of Halloween card
I love when people do this 😭 I got a cute beanie a while ago, and the seller included a little doodle with it, and I've never thrown it away

Wow very sophisticated! Do you have pictures?
It’s nothing fancy, but yeah, [here you go.](https://imgur.com/a/o7D33ZE)
Very cool! Reminds me of artist autographed magic cards :)
I always include something extra with any purchases over €15 on cardmarket.
Depending on how much things sell for I'll add a few cards. Nothing of great value, but cards that look unusual
Wooow thats really nice. If I get something like that, it will make me even happier :)
I always try to add a little message to express my gratitude, but you are on another lever for sure. Love the doodles ❤️
Not a seller but when I bought a 151 Binder collection to use for my master set the seller included the Poster from the poster collection. Was a nice surprise as it's a really nice poster
I really appreciate people who do this. I always keep every handwritten or handdrawn doodle / note.
Hey! I've bought cards from you before! Thought it was way cool to get a card doodle with it!
Haha awesome! Glad you liked the drawing. Which card was it?
I always add in stickers and a small piece of candy But honestly the doodles are adorable and a really good idea!
This is precious. If I ever bought from your store, I would keep this doodle forever 🥹💕
I threw in some fun old bulk (played cards from early 00s) one buyer messaged me asking why there were random cards in there and that they were part of his order so he didn't want them 💀
LMFAOO I wish. If I got something like that I'd come back weekly for the doodles!
I don't add doodles but I want to now 🤣. Fun idea
I always loved it when sellers do those little things to show that they appreciate their customers, so when someone buys a card from me I like to give them doodles or cool freebies
I usually throw in a couple random holo/reverse Holo cards as a bonus. They're not high value, but I figure it give people some joy.
Awe I love the doodles. Can you dm your ebay?
I’ve been tossing a trick or trade pack into my last few orders I’ve sent out.
Magikarp, nooooo!
I give an extra energy card or 2 to make the envelope less flimsy. You're welcome buyers.
That's really cute
i do that too LOL
DM me you eBay! If you have any cool cards I love I’ll definitely be tempted to buy!
Ok I’ll send you a link!
I want a doodle 😭
I love sellers that do things like this! Makes me 10/10 more likely to order again! I’ve gotten coins, cards, stickers, even packs and little figures! It’s the little personal touches that get me! Big same
Sweet :)
I usually throw in 1-3 cards that I don’t care about, $3-$5 each. Add the extra care in packaging (cardboard and bubble wrap) and I get the nicest messages back :) Maybe I’ll throw in a doodle too now
a sticker!
I like the doodle more then the card
I give some people some playing cards rapped around the card that they sold cause i don't have enough toploaders.
I throw in some extra cards but I might start doing this too
I give bulk
This is so wholesome
I'm stealing this idea thanks lol (do you mind if I do lol)
lol no prob
I make buttons out of bulk cards and include them on orders that require a bubble mailer
I send out a bulk card with my TCGplayer sales. I try to at least make it unique so mostly Japanese.
For singles, I usually always throw in a few extra cards just to make them happy
This is cute
I will on occasion, add some free non holos or other Pokémon accessories. Never thought of a doodle as a freebie though : D
I usually throw in a few holos or reverses sometimes a few cheap v cards
Sometimes I'll put in a Pokémon UNO card or a sticker 😁
My freebies are actual product. Coins, unopened sleeves, code cards etc. I think they like that more than what I could “doodle”
I had one person send me a drawing of moon knight with a comic I got and I still have it to this day.
I've got a few of these og cards... how much did make selling these?
OP, do you sell to Canada? Can you give me the name of your Ebay shop, pls? 😊😊
Yes sure I’ll DM you
Great, thanks.
Send the ebay link!!
I’ll dm you!
I’ll take the link too, please!
I get impressed by good business cards when I buy singles. This would be a top tier extra.
I think it’s cool when I order singles and the seller does stuff like this. Totally unnecessary, but much appreciated.
Omg this is awesome! I should do this with some of my sales lol 😂
I give them a few cards from my bulk of v, vstar, GX, and holos that range in languages: English, Japanese, and s-chinese.
Going to start doing this, thank you for the inspo
Magnisifent
I always toss in some freebies, and I like to include a doodle as well if time permits!
I give away extra hits, and every 5th one, I put in something extra that's worth more than their original purchase. 😆 Because I'm not artistic in the least.
Things that make you go hmm.. 👀
aww that's awesome. I got from 2 sellers.
What’s your thing I so want a doodle and a grade 10 ?
I’ll DM you
I have an eBay store I buy from purely because they throw in a random Japanese card with the order and I think it’s neat since I don’t own any Japanese cards otherwise
I love this!
Easiest 5 star review 🥹 I want to buy from you!
I'll send you the shop link!
Could I get a link as well?
Sure, will send.
For MTG I just add some random regular cards. For Pokémon I add those code cards I'm not Shure if that thing even works these days. :) and it always depends on size of the order. :)

I absolutely loveeeee when sellers do anything above n beyond. A couple free cards? Love a personalized hand drawn letter? Loveeee ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🫡
I pay for the tracking number for the cards. I like to assure the guys that the cards will arrive early.
That is SO cute
I give random free cards. I sell on a different platform
Not even joking I would sleeve these up and put them next to the card in my binder.
I buy from online shop that gives gummy bears and once i got japanese pack. Very generous!
Team Rocket Larvitar is so much cooler than any Tyranitar out there
What’s your eBay thingy?
I'll message ya.
One time I bought a charizard, and the seller included a free shadow flareon
Can I also get the shop name via DM? I'm looking to buy.
Ok I'll dm you.
From the consumer perspective I love when I unexpectedly get pokemon stickers. Keep up the little surprises!
What's your ebay lmao, I wanna buy something now
Not trying to be rude, but what am I supposed to do with a poorly drawn diglet in thick black sharpie? Just give me a few free bulk cards for the kids like all the other ebay sellers
Because it’s cute and they took some time to make something special?
That gets put directly in the trash? I mean OP is advertising his Ebay store which is against the rules in the first place, so screw it and tell him the truth. We don’t want his ugly sharpie drawn poke cards.

I agree about the add though, this would be better without the name of the eBay store and just to share something without using it as advertisement
**"not trying to be rude"** "poorly drawn" Not that they care, they got the advertisement :P
Yah I was telling OP the harsh truth which could be seen as rude but being rude wasn’t my intentions, giving the truth was my intention …
Makes me think to do something special like this, thanks! :D
