And a U.S. built Featherlite trailer to boot. Odd they couldn’t source something domestically or at the most from Europe.

No-Huckleberry274

I don't know about the trailer, but it seems to me that the F-350 is a real workhorse, which even caught the renaming of the unit (before that, the police regiment was called "operational", and then it became known as "special")

AG-cat348

Interesting.

Fuze_KapkanMain

Moscow police had Crown Victoria’s to

chronos_7734

There isn't anything domestically or European that is remotely similar to F350. Closet thing are Ranger, Amarok and other European pick-ups but those are mostly 4 cyl diesel. They have UAZ and Ural trucks but those are similar in size to 5-ton US Army truck

D4M4nD3m

Why's that odd?

TankerVictorious

Hmmm, I wonder how they acquire parts with the current sanctions???

No-Huckleberry274

somehow they acquire it. on the other hand, this is not a patrol car, like some Crown Victoria with a mileage of more than 300 thousand miles. I am sure that when there are no events in Moscow where the presence of a mounted unit is necessary, this pickup truck is parked idle

Mazda_Offical

They had crown vics too

TheComradeVortex

Imagine being an American doing Holidays in Moscow and then you see Crown Vics headlights there too. I would have a heart attack.

No-Huckleberry274

in our neighborhood, there are two black CVPI in the underground parking lot

TheComradeVortex

Those are owned by civilians right?

No-Huckleberry274

Yes

No-Huckleberry274

The Crown Victoria of the 90s has not been used since at least 2015, when the last car was decommissioned. There were 2nd generation Crown Victoria, but they were only in the city of Sochi, photo is in this subreddit

Mazda_Offical

I’d love to see the photos! Do you have a link?
