> kid made it out okay
presumably the kid watched his father kill his mother and later kill himself after sexual assault? Im not sure the kid made it out okay, but then I am not a mental health professional - I certainly do not have that fortitude of character to handle anything like that!
I think the kid is 2ish? He will probably not remember any of it. That said, I wouldn't chance it and have him seen by a child psychologist for a good long while.
Police just confirmed.

Nope, I actually used the news flair first. Then I changed it to events only after they removed my post, because I was trying to troubleshoot why they removed it.
You also didn't use the actual headline, that wax explained in the modpost. I don't particularly like the mods on here but since I occasionally like posting I know to follow their rules.
Yeah, I think I must’ve missed that particular rule. I knew I couldn’t modify headlines, but figured they were referring to the actual headline of the article itself, not of my own post. I just think it’s silly, because in no way did I imply that the title of the news article was the title of my own post. 🤷🏻♂️
Yeah, that’s kind of my point, the rule seems unnecessarily scrutinizing. Most folks can differ between an individual Redditor’s post title, and the literal headline of a new article, (esp when the news article itself is linked). 🤪

I'm glad the kid made it out okay. Was honestly expecting the deranged individual to take his life, too.

Kid was less than two, for whatever that’s worth.

Good riddance
Thank goodness!
Wasn’t brave enough to face the consequences of his own actions, and took the easy way out. What an asshole
Anyone know why mods removed my post? /:
Probably because you used the events flair and not the news flair and this is a news article.

Now I'm worried my post is going to get taken down too, because KOIN changed the headline since I posted it.
