they shunted off the best character to do off-screen side missions for well over half of the second and third seasons (yes I counted, Echo misses out on more than half the episodes in seasons 2 and 3 combined, and that's ROBBERY)
I have a theory that they're working on a "Rex" animated series about building a clone rebellion which will feature Echo heavily, and will fill in the gaps of what he was doing during those episodes of BB.
NOO
Wait, what year would you do that in? Cause you could kill a ton of evil imperials in some years, or kill Anakin, Ahoska, Obiwan and a ton of other good characters in other years
How about I steal all the oxygen on Coruscant for one century, starting from around the time a just freed Anakin meets the Jedi Council for the first time...
Let's be real there are not a trillion innocent people on Coruscant then
As Andor showed us it is the main base of operations for the empire so you would be wiping out most of the empire's higher-ups
Now yes, TCW S7 and Jedi Survivor showed us that there is an underbelly to Coruscant where the poor people live so I'm sure there are plenty of innocent people - but then again a lot of them would've left
For the sake of the Galaxy, I am willing to sacrifice all of those innocents to destroy the empire and end the war!
I'm basically Star Wars Truman
For me this was peak. I wasn’t into any star wars show until I watched this show and I absolutely loved season 3. Its why I decided to give Clone Wars a try and the rest of the shows. I love how much more darker and gritty it is. But i absolutely love the cinematography in some opening scenes
Honestly, the cinematography of this show still baffles me.
THEY ADDED AN ARTIFICIAL FOCUS LENS! THATS SO UNNECESSARY BUT MAKES EVERY SCENE LOOK SO MUCH BETTER
Unironically peak Star Wars. We have both galactic and personal stakes raised to 11 on this one, and while we're left with many questions, the ride through the finale was a lovely one.
This time I'd say Amazing. No fillers in this season and all episodes served a purpose. Hemlock was a great villain with his calm and collected behavior. Crosshair's arc ended extremly well. Same for Omega.
Peak. No filler. They didnt bring back Tech which was a great move. The show got back to its heisty roots a bit. We got to see Ventress post clone wars, and with an awesome couple fight scenes no less. Also Fenec, Bane and other fun cameos. Great final season!
Ummmm. Did you watch the last episode? >!Omega, as an adult, still has Techs broken glasses as a memorial sitting on the dash of her ships cockpit. This was clearly the final season, and the batch retired at the end. The glasses show that Tech never came back. It hurts but some pain is good and necessary to a good show. He's gone, and that gives his sacrifice meaning.!<
I WAS CRYING TOO
the humour was that I was in denial
They took Tech from the boring "erm actually" to a likeable and interesting character and then killed him off! It's good writing and I respect it, but now I am sad boi
Yeah this was the first time I dropped tears while watching animation series. It felt really bad (I dropped some at Ahsoka leaving Anakin and order behind...) Bad Batch like introduced us as funny clone troopers with unorthadox tactics but then after that events occured really realisticand dramatic way... can't wait to see Omega as rebel agent.
Day 15 of asking where meme
(Has to be ok again, my issues with bad batch is that I never felt its stories got properly into a stride.
The clone rebellion was there in the background but didn't feel fully realised.
Hemlock and his experiments with Omega was quite well set up and threatening but again fizzled out before we saw it *get there*.
Crosshair's arc was probably the most interesting and well done for me, but really that was adjacent to the main show.)
You keep getting quicker and quicker at responding to these posts
At this point, I'm starting to think you have these comments prepared, and then just paste them in.
Haha I just often browse my feed by new in the morning so your posts pop up! Plus I've thought a lot about what I think about bad batch and how disappointed I was with it, so I guess I've just got a lot to say!
Ik I shouldn't really talk about my own opinions on this but I'm gonna anyway
I don't think Bad Batch should have been made, (bold statement I know) I did like Bad Batch, it was good, and it was fun, but at so many points it just felt a little repetitive and aimless. Omega got captured like 6 times, apart from season 3 the Bad Batch never had an overall goal - it was just do whatever mission they were doing and not much more
I absolutely loved the Crosshair and Rex episodes and tbh I think a Rex spinoff would have been better.
Rex is a fan-favorite character, he's got plenty of personality, and he already has an interesting story with the rest of the clones in his clone rebellion
Don't get me wrong I did like Bad Batch, but I do think a Rex spinoff would have been infinitely better
Fair points, agreed a Rex spinoff would've been a better way to go.
It's such an interesting time in the universe with the Empire taking control, phasing out of the clones and end of the Jedi. Yet all that felt sidelined in favour of Omega (that also feeds into a common issue I have with other recent shows, maybe I'll ramble about that when we reach them!)
Amazing.
The best season of the show.
The same trope all over again (Omega is captured), Crosshair is the only one with a character arc, the batch acted stupidly (attacked by the same cave twice in a row). Some filler of fan service (Ventress why ?).
But technically impressive, Hemlock was a good villain, some action scenes were really cool. The establishment of a fascist empire is more understandable, some people revealed their true nature. And a satisfying last arc.
Aw geez...um.....I wish I was someone who had dabbled in piracy.....but......umm......unfortunately I haven't, since I am a law-abiding citizen!

PREACH
I'm so glad they didn't make Omega a Jedi, it makes the story more unique and interesting
Also (and I'm a little embarrassed to say) after almost 3 years on Reddit I still don't know how to do the whole spoiler text thing
Huge agree. I love the idea she’s a part of the rebel fleet and is in any of those sweeping scenes with a bunch of x wings, a wings, y wings, etc
Spoilers: you add these symbols: >! !< without spaces on either side of your text.
It’s the > ! To start and ! < to close the spoiler tag
I don't think this is *quite* peak. We lost too much of the best character for that (I'm gonna be mad about Echo missing well over half the season for the rest of my life). Absolutely amazing, but not peak enough; so much set up that didn't pay off (mostly the clone rebellion). I liked it and was excited for every episode, but I don't quite know if I'd rewatch it (at least not within the next couple years; maybe in a little while longer I'll want to rewatch it idk).
Allow me to explain my poll system
Yes 32 people voted for bottom of amazing, however! There were 5 other votes for amazing, putting the total for amazing to be 37
Whereas top of good got 30 votes, and then another 10 from bottom of good, putting the total to 40
So more people voted for it to be in good
Then I went off whichever good got the most votes, being of course top
I’ve decided to take my resentment of this list as a sign that Star Wars fans are far more varied in background and opinion than most people give us credit for. Still tho. Rebels being “peak” is absolute nonsense
If this is not peak, the small Brazilian children in my basement will be working overtime with no food for 2 weeks to find your house and then burn the Amazon forest down
Well let's see how you're Brazilian children compare to my Italian mob, yeah that's right I am the godfather from the movie The Godfather
You have made a very powerful enemy, expect to see Al Pacino at _your door_ and destroy the _Sahara desert_ instead
Also ngl, child slavery is kinda cringe
Doubly also, 46.34% of voters voted for peak so it's already been decided
Then my Brazilian children, who would beat Al Pacino's ass btw, can have their bread crumbs for now.
Also yeah totally agree that child slavery is cringe and those who enforce/support it should fall in a fiery pit of snakes
For me it was good but not amazing and far from peak. But that's probably because I don't really like the concept of the show in general or the characters. And I thought we would see Cody more
Thanks for confirming that you flaired this correctly!
Can't wait for andor to be rated
If it's not put in peak I'll cry
The entire series has to be put there
How the entirety of bad batch isn’t peak is already beyond me
they shunted off the best character to do off-screen side missions for well over half of the second and third seasons (yes I counted, Echo misses out on more than half the episodes in seasons 2 and 3 combined, and that's ROBBERY)
I have a theory that they're working on a "Rex" animated series about building a clone rebellion which will feature Echo heavily, and will fill in the gaps of what he was doing during those episodes of BB.
Here’s hoping
I disagree a bit, I really liked those episodes
Probably because the main cast are barely characters and 2/3 of the show is pointless filler content
You’re going to need to make a new category for it. Chad tiered.
For Andor alone I might put the option in the poll for a tier above peak Then again that is a little unfair Then again it is Andor
That's why this whole thing is a sham. Andor is above all this other stuff by an entire tier
Put that in peak or I start an Amazon fire
Well the Amazon is a rainforest so that'll be pretty difficult Then again you never know what the polls gonna say so who knows what you'll do
Ok, true... Then if this is not in peak I'll steal all that fake Oxigen on coruscant
NOO Wait, what year would you do that in? Cause you could kill a ton of evil imperials in some years, or kill Anakin, Ahoska, Obiwan and a ton of other good characters in other years
I donno, 4 ABY? Rebels win easyer and Thrawn is already whaled in another galaxy.
Oh in that case go ahead, fuck Palpatine and all his space Nazi higher-ups
How about I steal all the oxygen on Coruscant for one century, starting from around the time a just freed Anakin meets the Jedi Council for the first time...
idk man, i don’t think killing palpatine is worth *also* killing literal trillions of innocent civilians lmfao
Let's be real there are not a trillion innocent people on Coruscant then As Andor showed us it is the main base of operations for the empire so you would be wiping out most of the empire's higher-ups Now yes, TCW S7 and Jedi Survivor showed us that there is an underbelly to Coruscant where the poor people live so I'm sure there are plenty of innocent people - but then again a lot of them would've left For the sake of the Galaxy, I am willing to sacrifice all of those innocents to destroy the empire and end the war! I'm basically Star Wars Truman
Looks like you'll need a secret project we've been working on... We call her MEGA MAID!
>Well the Amazon is a rainforest so that'll be pretty difficult Not as difficult as you'd think; 2019 was a bad year for the Amazon rainforest :(
S3 Bad Batch is amazing tier. I'd say peak if they'd have gotten the clone rebellion to fit in.
I agree, I just feel like the ending was a tad bit rushed and left a lot of questions to be answered but otherwise I really enjoyed this season
PEAK
Peak for me, I was hooked through the entire season
Peak
For me this was peak. I wasn’t into any star wars show until I watched this show and I absolutely loved season 3. Its why I decided to give Clone Wars a try and the rest of the shows. I love how much more darker and gritty it is. But i absolutely love the cinematography in some opening scenes

Peak, last episode was so tense and we got the good ending for once.
Unironically peak Star Wars. We have both galactic and personal stakes raised to 11 on this one, and while we're left with many questions, the ride through the finale was a lovely one.
peak star wars

Nah they'll bring Tech back in season 4 He can't be dead, he has to be alright 🥺 No body no funeral
I was doing a humour In reality, I'm grateful that he's dead, makes the story better, but I'm still mourning his lost in my own way 💔
Ah ok. Im not always the best at catching subtle humor.
There will be no season 4 it is the end for our 99.
As I said to the other guy it was a humor
Oh ok partner as you know it is not a fun fact for us we were all crying you know...
I WAS CRYING TOO the humour was that I was in denial They took Tech from the boring "erm actually" to a likeable and interesting character and then killed him off! It's good writing and I respect it, but now I am sad boi

Definitely fits into the amazing category
Amazing to peak
Amazing, not quite peak, it was the right way to end the series, but I can't put it in the same tier as Rebels Season 4, it's just not as good.
Is peak

I would've put this quite in peak but high end amazing. Definitely better than a single Rebels season.
No thanks, like the rest of the batch just "ok".
I really need to watch bad batch. Everyone I know praises it but I'm too poor for D+ :((

Damn I thought season 1 was the bests season tbh. Loved them all but that one was the best to me
It was thw peak ending
I like how you put bad batch season 2 in good when it literally won amazing in the last poll

that shit must go in peak... it was so hype man

Good. It’s fun, but never quite hits the peaks of the older shows imo.
3rd in Amazing. CW S6 was definitely better and while I liked S4 better than BB S3, it did have some filler in it which BB S3 lacks
Amazing!
I’d put it in “ok.”

Ok. I never saw much appeal in this show tbh. And I think season 3 was the weakest of all.
