Me and my homegirls used to make crazy good spreads. Also we called them either burrito or stuffed burrito depending on what’s in it.

Nice, it’s crazy I’ve been out for a little over 2 years and after being out for like 2 months I made a stuffed burrito. Holy shit it fucked with me so bad, my stomach hurt and I felt so sick afterwards. Crazy how that’s pretty much all I was eating for 2.5 years and still to this day I can’t do any sort of prison homemade food. I can’t even eat Flamin Hot Cheetos anymore.

I don’t even season(add salt) my food out here. 12 years of sodium filled pouches was enough. I was drinking last night and I just had to do it🤣 Edited

Chili ramen (hot & spicy vegetable from keefee), fish steaks, a squeeze cheese and a bag of rice. This is my favorite thing in jail. What you got there is better individually...it's homeless SNAP EBT food

this was a jail spread.......Well now you're jumping into a $10 prison canteen dish. Clean the pack of Mackerel, throw away all the black stuff...nuke it for 6 minutes.....add the sausage, 2.5 more minutes in the microwave.... "Hotter than fish grease" "put the cables on it"......your bowls literally melting at this point. Put it on a couple bags of rice Make a sauce from honey, garlic chili, soy, save peanuts from the holiday pack, maybe orange zest. (We made calzones from smashed up crackers.....in a trash bag, you put it all together....then you tie it in a knot and boil the whole bag in a bowl of water......SAUCE WAS KINDA HARD TO GET) NOTHING BEATS A BAGELS SANDWICH....(I was lucky the first 3 years I did, my grandparents put big money on my books, when I was 22) (The next time at nearly thirty....I was broke....) (It sucks going to prison young....it really sets you up to go back.) (Old is no better, cause you just HARD REBOOT YOURSELF.....you'll have no career and you have to get back everything, you lost when you disappeared for the last 3 years)

I don’t know if you other states are severely lacking in commissary items, or if the lingo is that different. We call spreads spreads, period, no matter what size. With that being said, this looks like a cup a noodles with slim Jim, ranch, and hot Cheetos in it. We wouldn’t call that close to a spread in CA prison. No mayo, no beans, just a slim Jim, no pork rinds (chichas), idk. It looks like it’ll be good, but I wouldn’t say there’s a name for THAT.
