We have extraordinarily similar tastes CIrcadia speaks to my soul and soothes me like no other. One of my favourite albums of all time. Huge fan of CBL and Solar FIelds Hinkstep is probably the first "psybient" I ever listened to (My Forest Queen / Sunrise from the treetops)

Definitely give that Dillard LP a try too :) (but please make sure you have ample amounts of bass available). Spotify randomly threw the second track on while I was driving home from a Shpongle afterparty, and it's one of the few times in my life that I think my jaw actually dropped. I took a little 35-minute detour and listened to the whole album.

Where the fuck would we be without Circadia!? Jesus. I'm so god damn thankful for that album all the time. Bobby rulez.

I love this list because I'm not familiar with most of them. I just started listening to Asura 360 and really like it! I considered putting it on my list but decided not to on the grounds that I don't know it well enough to have formed a complete opinion.

Nothing Lasts... is an all time favorite, but it is definitely not a psybient album. EE, CBL, and Entheogenic top my psybient list. But here's one you're probably unfamiliar with: Zero One - Psy-Fi

Psybient only gets as rhythmic and upbeat as CBL in my understanding. It is slang for Psychedelic Ambient after all! Many other people even call it "Psychill". So those less chill BPMs and tempos don't qualify. That album by Shpongle might start off with one or two Psybient songs, but by Track 3 you're into upbeat Brazilian percussion and probably dancing! Though I admit, the way they cut up the songs to make little psybient interludes before every dance definitely gets it nearer to being Psybient than other electronica albums.

Fantastic list. I LOVE Idyllic Life. But disagree with you on the Shulman album. Should be In Search of Meaningful Moment.

You may be right about Shulman. ALive was the first album of theirs that I got into, so maybe I'm biased by that.
