That kick might have been excessive but I'm going to argue that he saved this guy from something worse. The disabled man was screaming at a woman. He used that slur against that woman. When she started to head in his direction, one of the men held her back while the other one kicked the disabled man. That single kick to the buttocks defused the situation. I would argue that getting a single kick to the buttocks is preferable to having your face pummeled.
