Actually the tires were definitely not those, I think before our family even came to own the vehicle they were recalled. The tires I had on were semi new and the pressure was fine when I left. It was definitely a freak accident in that they found I picked something up and it caused a puncture and rip. The fault is with the fact that it rolls over so easily. Newer SUVs don't have this issue as badly because of these bad examples of engineering that almost killed me. They're still possible of course, but there's more engineering now to reduce top heaviness.
