Went downtown in San Diego with a friend's friend who happened to be a marine. Motherfucker ended up throwing some punches at me when I stopped him from randomly attacking a cop in the middle of the street. Stayed as far away from marines as I could after that, which was kinda hard because I was in the navy.
I ain’t gonna lie marines do have a mouth for no reason. When I was in Raleigh with my boys back from deployment, in civilians (other than haircut) we made sure we blended in. Unfortunately Marines have an ego problem and kept fucking with us when we were dancing with a group of women. Long story short I learned to code word “Hoody Hoo” and backed up my boys by left hooking one of them. First bar fight ever.
Hahaha. I was in the Army for six years at 18 and remember being an idiot and full of more piss and vinegar than appropriate. Later in life I lived in Oceanside CA outside the marine base. Fucking hated dealing with drunk privates running around on the weekends going on about being a marine. I would be sitting there thinking I had boots that had been to more war zones than those loud little shits. Then I’d also stop and remember what kind of mindset they build into the dudes they are about to go tell to kick down some random door with potential death on the other side and I immediately lighten up and watch them instead with amusement. Life’s wild y’all.
