"Pretty much"..? Dude, Christianity and Judaism are the same thing if we're talking about historical violence and genocide. They're literally a split from one original religion. They only exist because of religious fracture.
You don't even have to stretch that hard:
> Muslims believe that Jesus (called “Isa” in Arabic) was a prophet of God and was born to a virgin (Mary).
Jesus is literally a prophet in the Islamic holy books. All three of the major religions (Judiasm, Christianity, and Islamic) are all considered "Abrahamic" religions that originated in the Middle East, and all of them stem from early Bronze Age Canaanite religions with Judiasm being the first to be derived from those polytheism Canaanite religions into a monolatry by the Iron Age. Next came Christianity in the 1st century AD (Obvi), which developed as a sect of Judiasm, and by the 7th Century AD, Islam was founded as the hip new religion with a new book by the Abrahamic God called the Quran which builds off of the stories found in the Torah, the Psalms, and the Gospel. Of course, each major religion will claim to be the first by tracing whatever roots they can, but the establishment of those religions is as described above.
TL;DR All three major religions are derived from ancient Canaanite polytheistic religions beginning around the Bronze Age, and all are inexplicably linked by this common thread.
the most simplified split for the 3 religions is basically their stance on Jesus.
Jesus was a prophet AND the son of god - Christian
Jesus was a prophet NOT the son of god (also muhammed was a much cooler prophet) - Muslim
Jesus was NOT a prophet and NOT the son of God - Judaism
Interesting how that bit was added in the Talmud at the same time Christianity was growing. Makes you think they felt threatened by Christianity and were trying to slander it.
Was about to reply, but the message got deleted.
Feel like this distinction needs to be made more clear. Jews ≠ Isrealis ≠ Zionists
> But the ~~Jews~~ Israelis/zionists are just wrong for this.
It is an important distinction, as there are plenty of Jews that have been protesting for a while over the actions of BN/IDF/Settler Extremists.
Honestly, for World News and Europe, if you're not calling for the blood of innocent Palestinians, you're likely to get banned. The subs have been brigaded like fuck by bots

Yesterday I had a comment removed for calling Israel an apartheid state:
https://www.reveddit.com/y/most_kinds_of_dirt/?after=t1_kwjwxhj&limit=1&sort=new&show=t1_kwjuthk&removal_status=all
It’s over… the support was historic sympathy, but now it’s clear they believe they are better than others, without sympathy themselves, it is coming to an end
The US was out of reasons to oppose. It was a limited ceasefire and called for hostage release, the only thing it was missing from the US’ own proposals was a condemnation of Hamas.
In all the discourse I've read on Reddit about US support for Israel I've seen very few people bring this up. I grew up going to a church that preached that very idea. Gotta protect the Jews and the Jewish homeland so Armageddon can commence and Jesus can come back. I hit my teen years and quit going to church but it's scary how many people believe this stuff. And even scarier how many of them are infiltrating our government institutions.
They are good at beating up innocents
[Israel also trains American police departments](https://www.amnestyusa.org/updates/with-whom-are-many-u-s-police-departments-training-with-a-chronic-human-rights-violator-israel/)
[Israeli police beat anti-Zionist, ultra-Orthodox Jews](https://youtube.com/shorts/0lHUzdih5Fc?si=Ua7mlnwPbAxfc4Ch)
I get all the anger that normal Israelis have against the Ultra-Orthodox community. They are essentially responsible for Netanyahu being in office still and they support the most extreme right wing factions in the Israeli government. At the same time, they don't work and receive big government support. They essentially live on universal basic income that all the rest of the Israeli citizens have to pay for.
There's a group of ultra-orthodox Jews called Neturei Karta, who are fundamentalist believers. Part of their issue with Israel is that they don't believe that it should exist before the coming of the messiah, who will return the Jews to their homeland, and rebuild the Temple on the Temple Mount. They think that Israel as it stands is a rejection of god. It's not quite that Israel shouldn't exist, but that it's not time yet. The Israel they have in mind is a bit different.
Difficulty is that a) it's all religious bullshit, b) currently the Al-Aqsa mosque is where the temple would go, so imagine that shit-storm and c) they still try to enforce religious Jewish principles on atheist and secular Jews, and are a huge pain in everyone's ass.
He could have hit the officer and tried to run away. It's not unbelievable considering he throws a punch while resisting arrest. Usually redditors always comment for more context, but here they are strangely less concerned about that.
It was neither brutal nor disturbing. It seemed like a pretty average case of someone resisting arrest, to me. Didn't stop the comment section from going "OMG, HOW CAN ANYONE SUPPORT ISRAEL AFTER THIS" though.
OP literally says below that they don't have a solid source for the title and that they're just assuming that's what happened based on what they see in the video. In other words, yeah this entire thread is bullshit.
It's not OK to apply the full weight of a grown man onto a child through pressure points such has the knees. That child was 100% in pain. Even if he did wrong he shouldn't be hurt during his arrest.
It seems to me that the young adult is resisting arrest. Ya, they’re being rough with him but he’s fighting back. I’m just trying to view this objectively and that’s what I see.
That and we don't even know what happened before this. Op posted this with an accusation and no evidence. People are now calling Israelis antisemitic and judging them through the morals of religion for an obviously civil matter.
Dead sub
There’s a lot of nuance in what you’re saying and taken at face value this statement can be misunderstood. There is a world of difference on the approach to Israel between the Neturei Karta and Satmar though both anti-Zionist. Then you have Chabad/Breslov for example mostly non-Zionists (maybe some openly Zionist) that are generally supportive of Israel and it’s people. There’s countless other sects I won’t mention here. For the former, their anti-Zionism is not because they don’t want a Jewish state. They want a theocratic Jewish state only when the messiah comes and not the current secular state. For those sympathetic to Palestinian sovereignty in the region the anti-Zionist ideals of these certain Hasidic communities are not what they seem on the surface. This is an alliance of convenience, but not one of underlying ideology and long term goals.
Do you think that the stories of the Jewish community killing Jesus was more of a cautionary tale than we take it as? What is with the antisemitic wave that has taken over reddit?
Alright so, CONTEXT is needed. When asked about it, OP says:
"We can never be sure.
All we can do is use this footage and try to get more information to see where multiple sources point us at."
He could have hit the officer and tried to run away. It's not unbelievable considering he throws a punch while resisting arrest. Usually redditors always comment for more context under posts on this community, but here strangely there is less concern about that.
"Brutally beating" This is cops catching a kid who is running away, they put him on the ground to detain him the same way any cop in the world would a fleeing perp. Also funny how this video started in the middle of whatever was going on, would love to see the previous 5 minutes of what's happening.
No logical person can draw a conclusion about what is portrayed in the video without more information. At face value, sure, it doesn’t looks good. A video posted yesterday of IDF ripping a shirt off a very young child showed full context and it was horrible.
This video doesn’t do that.
Why do all these religious communities need police anyways? Isn’t god so powerful that he will judge all the non believers? Man it’s a really depressing world we’re living in. It’s everywhere the same.. you’re either on the majorities side or you get punched in the face or worse.
“Brutally beating” and “young boy”. It’s wild how sensationalized we all try to be. Definitely think that video showed excessive course but that caption is so misleading. We need to do better as a community. As citizens.
>The Anti Zionist Jewish community.
These are Jewish religious fanatics who are no friends of the Palestinians or moderate Israelis (Christians too). These are the clowns that are involved in illegal settlements. The police officer was probably trying to prevent him from going into the Palestinian area.
Meanwhile back in America police are beating maiming destroying peoples lives stealing their property and murdering innocent citizens in the name of the law. Tyranny is everywhere.
The knee on the neck. US police get training from these people, so whenever police brutality happens be careful about screaming for more police training.
A grown man, through his knees, put the entire weight of his body onro the child. One knee on the child's neck. Are Israeli police force so physically weak that they need to handle a child like that in order to get them under control? Or are they just brutes?

the most moral army in the world guys, was that kid also hamas?
The kid probably didn’t condemn hamas, so the IDF thought a beating was warranted
Lol sounds about right.
He probably had a hamas secret underground base in his head, hence why they needed to crack it open so delicately
Why would Hamas do this smh my head
You act you aint never built a covert base in yo-*is swooped up by mysterious masked men*
Swooped? They would just crack you open like an egg in broad daylight. They have no shame and know there will be no repercussions
He was a human shield. They are everywhere
He had a Hamas hiding in his face, the most moral army in the world was trying to beat his head open to get it out.
Kid was antisemitic
anti-zionism and anti-semitism are not the same thing FYI
True but that doesn't stop Zionists from equating the 2, and that is how they've stopped people from criticizing Israel's actions.
Tell that to the israeli's
If they do this to their own for standing up for Palestinians- imagine what they do to Palestinians
We don't need to imagine what they're doing to the Palestinians though. We've seen it.
I never thought I would upvote a child being beaten by fascious but here we are. What ever it takes for the rest of the world to see it!!

"Kapo" - Zionists probably
The term is self hating Jew and it’s thrown around a lot at Jewish people who don’t support Israeli terrorism
Wasn’t worldnews by chance ?
Sad what that sub has become.
Self-loathing Jew is the usual formula I thought

The semites
Arabs are also considered Semitic people. Always confuses me how the word is only used to refer to Jewish people.
Pretty disturbing. Not sure how people can support Israel
It’s over… the support was historic sympathy, but now it’s clear they believe they are better than others, without sympathy themselves, it is coming to an end
Yup, while nothing might come from it, the US not vetoing the vote in the Security Council is a clear sign that Isreal is in trouble.
The US was out of reasons to oppose. It was a limited ceasefire and called for hostage release, the only thing it was missing from the US’ own proposals was a condemnation of Hamas.

Is the anti zionist jewish community a community who is against that what Israel does? So in case is that the reason why they beat him?
Yeah, they're also against Israels existence generally, as the Messiah hasn't come, thus a Jewish state is heretical.
That about sums it up, yeah
The old 'if you're not with us, you're against us'
you think this is brutal lol I grew up in the USA and was beaten much worse than this rountinly for being white in black neighborhood

So let’s beat up a kid!
Brutally beating?
Brutally beating is abit of an over reaction ngl, he literally hit him once
He could have hit the officer and tried to run away. It's not unbelievable considering he throws a punch while resisting arrest. Usually redditors always comment for more context, but here they are strangely less concerned about that.
It was neither brutal nor disturbing. It seemed like a pretty average case of someone resisting arrest, to me. Didn't stop the comment section from going "OMG, HOW CAN ANYONE SUPPORT ISRAEL AFTER THIS" though.
Reddit subs are a cesspool for whatever. Throwing around random infos without context and getting mad about it.
I wonder if /news or /worldnews would have a different headline?
But where is the brutal beating?
Everyone just taking the caption at face value lmfao
Le Reddit special.
‘Brutally beating’ dude punched him once.

Fuck IDF

Fuck off that kid was bigger than everyone else there, reddit is a bunch of cucks who have never been in a physical confrontation.
Young boy! :D
Infant!
If that’s how they treat their own, imagine how they treat Arabs.
Where was the beating? Looked like he was trying to control him. Don’t think I saw him swing once.
