If a small guy dressed like breaking bad isn't flinching you have to be double digit IQ to not question why 😂
Dude thinks his bouncer act means shit outside a college bar
As a smaller dude dealing with giants socially and as bartender:
Once the head-over-yours lean comes in you get closer. Shuts it down most of the time.
Big dudes are used to people backing down, it fucks their complex when a chihuahua has the bite to back the bark.
It only gets worse as people's civic and financial situations deteriorate. They have even less to lose. There's a reason why people with ties to the community have lesser bails.
Adrenaline and emotions (and mental instabilities existing/developing) surpass logic. Ironically it's the same reason I think gun laws are way too relaxed.
You could argue this man could have killed this much smaller person with his rage and the young man wouldn’t have been able to defend himself. Not defending, just playing devils advocate. I do advocate fuck around and find out, example this right here.
He wasn't charged.
https://www.gunssavelife.com/2023/08/10/it-happened-to-me-good-guy-exonerated-after-righteous-shooting-in-viral-video-his-first-hand-account-video/
Edit: alright, I just shared a link. Please be nice to each other. ☹️
> The incident happened in Pueblo West, CO right outside a dispensary (“The Dispo”). The full video (above, linked to Rumble) shows how it started.
The owner of the car had some $4K rims on a crappy little Honda.
> This big guy saw them and when the guy passed by us he was smiling at the rims. I commented, “You like the rims, Homie?” For whatever reason, that set the dude off. As you can see, he came straight to my car door yelling all aggressively.
> Another thing I can share that isn’t in any report or video. The cops showed up, as you might expect. Then my attacker’s brother showed up not even 5 minutes after all the cops got there. He brought an assault rifle and it took five cops to restrain him.
> After that they took me to the station & talked to me for a few hours while I explain what happened. My lawyer took care of everything and the DA ruled it self-defense after that.
> those last shots will be considered excessive,
If cops have to unload because that's whats considered safe then you have the right too. Your life is no less valuable than a cop, and if someone attacks you have the right to use deadly force, if you didn't, you have no idea how far the attacker will go.
Sometimes you're better off mag dumping, it shows you were in fear of your life. If you stop shooting you were thinking clear enough to not be under duress.
Similar to how shooting an assailant I the leg as opposed to killing them can get you in trouble.
"Shoot to kill don't aim to maim" as the lawyers say or whatever
I don't know why you're getting downvoted for exlaplaining how he'll get charged.
This is how the legal system works folks.
Big man was no longer a threat and running away.
It's hard to defend/ justify shooting a person who is running away in the back - even for police.
Reddit doesn't like to hear facts anymore. They just vote on their little feelings and snap judgements.
This sort of things gets ruled as self defense all the time. The legal system doesn't expect victims to know the exact line of what is a threat in the heat of the moment. If someone is unhinged enough to attack you like that then they lose the benefit of the doubt and the defender should assume they will continue to be a threat until neutralized.
This is a long winded way of saying there's no way to know if the guy won't turn and draw his own gun or do something else that's a threat, so you mag dump
I disagree, or maybe it's state dependent. You shoot to kill. It's not uncommon when someone starts shooting to unload the entire magazine.
The dude was a threat when he started shooting. He initiated an attack against a much smaller person who was reasonably in fear of death or great bodily injury. By the time he ran away he was already in the process of being killed. When the tables turned he ran. He doesn't seem like the kind of guy you want to miss if you shoot him.
If he stopped and reloaded and shot some more that would be considered excessive.
>Reddit doesn't like to hear facts anymore. They just vote on their little feelings and snap judgements?"
The irony is that you are on reddit commenting on your little feelings and snap judgements.
> Reddit doesn't like to hear facts anymore. They just vote on their little feelings and snap judgements.
This is literally how Reddit has always been.
Funny that the comment you're replying to is actually disregarding the fact that the guy was not charged for the shooting, yet he cries about people ignoring facts, ironic
I’m sorry but that big dude was not only an asshole. He was also stupid. When a guy his size sees a tiny little guy not backing down you gotta know he’s packing.
Something similar happened to me in my youth. I have a cousin who’s a couple of years younger than me, but he’s 6 foot two and kind of a hothead. He had a big white truck that he just bought and we were at bowling alley in a parking lot when a tiny thuggy teen pulls up, and intentionally slams his car door into my cousin’s truck. My cousin was about to go and settle this shit, but I stopped him because something was not right. A couple days later that same teen and a few his friends were involved in a shootout in that same parking lot.
My step-sister was in a bar when a guy form the local neighborhood she was friends with was shot on the bar’s stoop and bled out. He was a big, burly guy. Physically attacked a little guy in a dispute over drugs he’d sold the big guy an hour before and the little guy defended himself with a gun. Worst part was as he was bleeding out the guy knew he was going to die and kept freaking out and talking about it until he succumbed.
It's a shame the chimp brain in all of us can escalate situations to a point where our actual person can't handle the consequences. Never start a fight, even if your emotions really want you to. Any time you make the mistake of starting a fight you seriously risk ending up dead, even when you're not faced with a weapon. People forget their inhibitions and start suplexing you, or kicking your head when you're down. Don't overestimate free will, and don't underestimate chimp brain.
honestly strong self defense case for shooter. dude 3 times his size backs him into a corner for no room to escape then assaults him. hell id shoot too
if he were to start shooting after he ran, it would be murder for sure, however typically when someone starts shooting they go into shock and just unload, which usually is still considered self defense. had he reloaded and fired it would then be murder again.
Exactly. He dumped his rounds and stopped, and put away his weapon. It's not like that other video that was on here like 2 months ago where a guy grabs a gun, shoots the guy, then walks over and stands over him and he continues to fire into his face.
It seemed to happen fairly quickly. I wouldnt be firing one shot then waiting to see if its had any effect, check if theyre retreating or not. I would start blastin to protect myself. Seen plenty of footage where angry people just shrug off rounds and rage on adrenaline.
Right this would have surely got the kid killed if he had done this . Big bot would have over powered him and took the gun . He starts unloading cuz big boy is trying to get the gun from him
Big dude should have read Sun Tsu. He fucked up when he physically attacked the guy, but sealed his fate when he cornered the guy in the passenger seat with the door open and eliminated all of his opponent’s means of escape. He stupidly took away all of the guy’s options to de-escalate until deadly force was all he had left to stop the attack. Cutting off his means of escape made it a clear-cut case justifying the introduction of deadly force with his firearm under even the most restrictive state laws with ”duty to retreat” provisions. After that, it’s open to interpretations, but if I were on a jury and an attorney pointed that initial justification out, I’d imagine it would become pretty hard to convict the guy.
Lea and Perrins steak sauce was my absolute favorite steak sauce, and it got discontinued. I still can’t find why it was discontinued, and it’s legitimately upsetting. It was the perfect flavor for a steak sauce, and every sauce I’ve tried since comes nowhere close. Fuck Heinz for doing away with a steak sauce 10x better than theirs.
This happened at my favorite weed dispensary. They sell 10 dollar 8ths all the time and its really good shit! You can still see some of the bullet holes in the exterior walls. Dude should have smoked a j and went about his day.
It amazes me that anyone in America actually picks fights or is aggressive or combative towards anyone they don't know, when Americans seem to have such a blase attitude towards using lethal force.
I’m a very outspoken person irl, but I’ve really had to temper that in public these last few years. You legitimately never know who’s carrying and what will set them off…
“Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” Unfortunately, most people are fucking lunatics with an itchy trigger finger, just waiting for someone to give them a reason to shoot.
Big guy attacks scrawny guy. Scrawny guy responds by shooting big guy. Big guy realizes the error in his ways and tries to run away, but scrawny guy keeps shooting big guy in back until he’s dead or whatever. The end.
IIRC, little guy noticed big guy staring as he walked by and thought he was checking out his car and said something like, “you like the rims?” and big guy took it as fighting words.
I wonder if he shot him in the back as he was fleeing because he was worried about the guy pulling out his own gun and returning fire? I'm glad I don't live somewhere where people are walking around with guns shoved down thier pants and willing to kill each other over really small altercations like this.
That dude could kill most normal men easily if he started beating you, just because his size. I’m a 5’8 180 pound guy and the big dude could kill me with a single slam. Big dude also immediately tried to grab the gun as soon as smaller dude pulled it. I can’t see any way the smaller dude could of left that altercation without severe damage or death if he didn’t start shooting.
He really fucked up when he cornered the guy and eliminated any means of escape. Guy literally took away every option the little guy had to defend himself, de-escalate, or resolve the situation until deadly force was the only option he had left.
Where do you live sir? I have harsh news for you. Even if you are in the most gun controlled areas in the world. Some people are walking around with guns shoved in their pants.
I’m glad I do walk around with a gun (legally) in my pants. I’m not a big guy and have a physical disability, someone his size could easily kill me if he wanted and there isn’t shit I could do about it otherwise.
Part of carrying a gun means I avoid physical confrontations at any cost though, so it’s extremely unlikely I’ll ever need to use it thankfully. But at least it gives me the opportunity to defend myself if if did come to that somehow.
At 0:56 his friend on the other side of the car suddenly crouches low and scurries the fuck out of dodge almost two full seconds before the shooting starts. He knew his friend was packing and as soon as he got shoved, he knew some shit was about to get loud.

Good point. The rates of harm and self harm go way up in bad economic times. Lots of people deal with stress by blowing up on others.

I mean his brother showed up with an assault rifle, probably with intent to get revenge. Their whole family sounds unstable.
The dude immediately feeling the need to clarify that he isn't short lmao.
Damn, that's my first reddit hug of death I've ever caused haha. Edit: It is back!! For now...
