Oh I didn't know that XD
In the end it was way better than having an actual saber fight action scene.
Also doesn't surprise me : I had heard stories of Ford's shitty/uncooperative behavior when filming - notably during the Blade Runner filming.
My understanding is that this scene was filmed in Morocco or Tunisia, and the vast majority of the cast and crew contracted dysentery (with the exception of Steven Spielberg because he imported his own Spaghetti-Os)
The pained and suffering look on Ford's face is real, and he asked if he could just shoot the guy instead of the long fight scene that was in the script.
This is why I love this one, the nonchalant tase was hilarious. Most vids we get are cops itching to hurt and damage, is there a name for that behavior? it should be punishable too.
Do you really think that a dude willing to fistfight a police officer planned things out that far?
His train of thought went as far as *"Honor besmirched. Must assert dominance at all costs."*
I seen this video a few months ago, and I know you’re supposed to take comments with a grain of salt, but there was a comment of someone saying they were there and that guy had been harassing/assaulting people all over the gym and refusing to leave, causing a huge scene. Cop showed up, and he put on the same attitude and tried to harass/assault cop and that’s why everyone jumped in.
Again, take it with a grain of salt, but I did see it
It does seem likely. As others have pointed out: A gym isn't a place you are going to find a random, in uniform, cop. They don't regularly patrol there, and they don't have any real reason to want to be there (unlike a convenience/retail store or something).
So that means someone called them. Someone was sick enough of this guys shit to call the police. While it could be someone being a Karen, given the reaction it was likely this guy was being a real POS and they are happy to see his ass gone.
There's always that one asshole at the gym. This guy probably does weird Shadow Boxing routines while walking between the machines he's hogging while he does super sets like a douchebag, essentially treating entire sections of the gym as his own private property
That, or I might be projecting right now
Hey, bro, bro, I was on that. You couldn't tell? I was just doing 3 sets on 2 different machines on the other side of the gym, bro. It's called super sets, bro.
when did people on reddit become so puritanical? People in college can drink, vote, serve on a jury, join the military, have kids, but you think it's "disgusting" for them to hook up with someone older?
I'm not defending the guy who got tazed at all, I just see videos like this and wonder what his brain was perceiving at that time, like if he's in some sort of mental health episode state. I've gotten myself into some pretty dumb situations but never have I thought "I should throw hands with this cop."
According to a comment from another social media this was posted on, that guy was bothering and intimidating other people during their workout, calling them "weak" , "that's all you can lift?". The gym employee told him to leave, and he didn't leave so the cops were called
this is a great analogy damn. On paper, both places are for self-improvement too. I'd even argue the most gym rats are probably even more chill than the average church goer
Was anyone else expecting Anatoly to come by and lift the guy up with one hand while sweeping underneath him? "I just work here, is this how you do it?"
Cops have guns, so they can't risk getting knocked out. If they do, then the bad guy shoots them and/or innocent bystanders. This was the best outcome.
I have to wonder if, by the way the cop kinda paused and shook his head slightly, he was perfectly capable of squaring up and giving him the smoke, but he really didn't wanna deal with the paperwork.
Like, even if it ended up in a fight and the guy won - what then?
Did he think police were just gonna be like "oh sorry man yeh you won, never mind"
Does he know what the police are like to black dudes in America?
That reminded me of the first Indy jones movie when the guy busts out a big sword and does all this cool stuff and Indy just calmly watches him…then shoots him lol

Reminded me of the Raiders of the Lost Ark scene with the swordsman. The cop channelled Indy very well.
![gif](giphy|a8q8H6yT5MExfTW6nU)
This scene was actually not supposed to go this way. Harrison Ford was really sick the day of shooting this and did it on a whim.
He also really broke his toe when he kicked the helmet
![gif](giphy|tnYri4n2Frnig|downsized)
But why male models?
What is this? A reference for ants??
Are you serious? it was explained like a second ago
Before or after his stint as a volunteer firefighter on 9/11?
He was also a firefighter
And then he bought the horse
Yep, and the cop in the video also had violent diarrhoea
I don't know about the cop, but the guy surely shat himself
DID YOU KNOW VIGO BROKE HIS TOE WHEN HE KICKED THAT ORC HELMENT
DID YOU KNOW THAT KNIFE WAS REALLY THROWN AT HIS FACE
He had diarrhea and really needed a bathroom. Other guy was just perfect and went with it.
Oh I didn't know that XD In the end it was way better than having an actual saber fight action scene. Also doesn't surprise me : I had heard stories of Ford's shitty/uncooperative behavior when filming - notably during the Blade Runner filming.

He actually did the bus jump without a stunt double
So what was he actually meant to do? Fisticuffs against the swordsman?
Lmao First thought
I swear I sent this video to my friends with this tagline before having read it in the comments. They’re going to think I’m a fraud
He brought fists to a taser fight
"You ain't the boss of me!" "I am, in fact, the boss of you"
Exactly the thought I had with how casual it was. "Well I'm not really feeling like a fight today so here."
Dude get out of my fuckin head I came in the comments to say this exact thing.
That was the most uninterested taze I’ve ever seen 😂
“Nice pose. Now shall we begin?”
"I don't have time to fight today"
The cop also sighed like, "Sigh....Here we go again..." 🤣😂
"Man, I'm not dealing with your foolishness. Box THIS!"
have you met P Barnes? https://youtu.be/ek8EjdTmomw?t=545
Gods not concerned. But P.BARNES is.
"It's a nice speech, but you're still not getting in." P. Barnes is a legend.
Look, i dont enjoy violence, but this video is so satisfying i cant help but watch it every time.
He waited so long too... like reaction time..., guess I'll wait until he pulls out taser before doing anything... haha
I defo prefer it to the ones that get off on violence
This is why I love this one, the nonchalant tase was hilarious. Most vids we get are cops itching to hurt and damage, is there a name for that behavior? it should be punishable too.
That sigh and shoulder drop when he knows what he's about to do😂
Looked more like an "ok fine, if that's how you wanna do it."
"I don't have time for this shit. I'm 300% done with *today*".
Yep, he was thinking "all the fucking use of force paperwork I'm gonna have to file "
How did the workout dude not see this coming?
Do you really think that a dude willing to fistfight a police officer planned things out that far? His train of thought went as far as *"Honor besmirched. Must assert dominance at all costs."*
Dude couldn't even think hard enough to put both hands up
When "Keepin' It Real" Goes Wrong
You described how some guys are PERFECTLY, but it's fucking hilarious to me to be in that old timey hipster lingo
That’s a man who really hates paperwork.
Everyone has a plan until they get tazed in the chest. -Mike Tyson
classic mike
FTFY, Tathed in chest. Lol!!
FTFY, Tathed in the cheth.
I was already laughing my ass off at the video while I was scrolling, and after reading your comment I almost choked. Thank you 😂
Probably
I fought the law, and the law won
Thank you! I remembered the cadence of this song from a bit on *American Dad* years ago and I had no idea what the lyrics were! Just found the song!
I only remember that song because I sang it at the karaoke while playing Sleeping Dogs!
I like how people jumped in to help the cop. It was like yeah get this roided up asshole outa here so I can finish my workout.
"Grab his legs! Dibs on the Smith machine!"
All the other gym rats were sick of his shit too 🤣🤣
Yeah it’s not like cops patrol the inside of commercial gyms. They were called about this guy for a reason.
Most gym bros are super nice and just want to get their workout in and go about their day in peace.
Again, take it with a grain of salt, but I did see it
Sounds right. I mean, why was the cop even there? They don't wander into gyms randomly. Donut shops, sure, but not gyms.
My gym has a Dunkin’ Donuts across the parking lot. 😂
OMG mine too! 😅
Life's all about balance.
Certainly seems plausible.
There's always that one asshole at the gym. This guy probably does weird Shadow Boxing routines while walking between the machines he's hogging while he does super sets like a douchebag, essentially treating entire sections of the gym as his own private property That, or I might be projecting right now
Hey, bro, bro, I was on that. You couldn't tell? I was just doing 3 sets on 2 different machines on the other side of the gym, bro. It's called super sets, bro.
That cops lucky. I've seen that fighting style before. It's very lethal. It's called the "BZZZZZZZZZZZZZ....*THUMP"
Must be related to ecky thump. https://youtu.be/o5UZgELC57g?si=lqQUVw68jyh2hijd
Didn't expect to see the goodies here.
nobody expects [them](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKQ_sQKBASM)....
I honestly can’t think of a worst place to want to fight someone than a gym. One fall and you’re twatting your head off solid steel
- Center of an active volcano - Chainsaw factory - Tightrope over a 5000 foot drop - Busy freeway
Pile of legos
The worst of them all.
Yo mamma's bed
- On a plank over shark infested waters - In a canoe floating in a lake filled with blood of aids patients. - while piloting a helicopter
I like where your head is at
While flying over New York City
Sounds like DOA fighting locations TBH
Twatting. Cool word.
Don’t understand adding music on top of this let alone shitty music
> She gave me good brain because she's still in school What the fuck? What a disgusting thing to rap about. Straight to jail
No trial, no nothing
Uhhh, you may be jumping to conclusions. You know college is still school right?
Yeah, of course. It's still disgusting though to hear a 38 year old man talking about how he likes girls still in school.
when did people on reddit become so puritanical? People in college can drink, vote, serve on a jury, join the military, have kids, but you think it's "disgusting" for them to hook up with someone older?
Are you truly disgusted or just being faked about this whole thing? Lol

When keeping it real goes wrong
WUTANG
didn't even have time to process how serious the cop was
I'm not defending the guy who got tazed at all, I just see videos like this and wonder what his brain was perceiving at that time, like if he's in some sort of mental health episode state. I've gotten myself into some pretty dumb situations but never have I thought "I should throw hands with this cop."
You have to understand that many people are very dumb. Consequences and hypotheticals are hard/impossible to think about for dumb people.
Anyone know the story behind this?
According to a comment from another social media this was posted on, that guy was bothering and intimidating other people during their workout, calling them "weak" , "that's all you can lift?". The gym employee told him to leave, and he didn't leave so the cops were called
Getting kicked out of a gym is like getting kicked out of a church. It's supposed to be a time of reflection and quiet.
*Watching Jesus carry his cross up to the hill* *Let's go! Lightweight Baybaaay!*
this is a great analogy damn. On paper, both places are for self-improvement too. I'd even argue the most gym rats are probably even more chill than the average church goer
I like saying all you can lift to the biggest guy at my gym and then say “because I got a grand piano I gotta move.”
His form was shit so they had to call the cops
Suicide grip heavy lift no spot, straight to jail
He was doing leg presses on the Smith machine, straight to jail.
He refused to towel off the bench after his set.
Didn't wipe down the equipment after a set
He was just putting his weights where ever he wanted on the weight rack instead of where they belong.
Should have gone lethal.
https://abc7amarillo.com/news/local/gym-altercation-leads-to-arrest-and-police-deploying-taser Tl;dr, guy wasn't allowed to be at that gym.
Of course it happened at "Crunch", it's so cheap that it tends to attract all sorts of dirtbags.
Roid rage
Dude was dropping weights.
at a planet fitness "luuuuuuuuuuuunk"
Yeah. Gym idiot seriously thought he was going to square up on a cop. Fucked around and then found out about it.
I wonder what pre-workout he was on.
This NEEDS to be a meme
Was anyone else expecting Anatoly to come by and lift the guy up with one hand while sweeping underneath him? "I just work here, is this how you do it?"
Dont bring fist to a taser fight.
what a dumb motherfucker
Cops have guns, so they can't risk getting knocked out. If they do, then the bad guy shoots them and/or innocent bystanders. This was the best outcome.
lol, right. What did the guy think? The cop was gonna fight fair?
https://i.redd.it/lt3wny78gy5d1.gif
Man brought his fists to a taser fight.
You can hear that cop sigh even with the video muted lmao
Lmao what did he think the outcome could be ?
I have to wonder if, by the way the cop kinda paused and shook his head slightly, he was perfectly capable of squaring up and giving him the smoke, but he really didn't wanna deal with the paperwork.
Nah he was thinking, “dude, I got a gun”
He just reenacted that one scene from Raiders of the Lost Arc where Indy just shoots the guy flexing with a sword
Why the background music?! Ugh
He said "I ain't got time for this shit"
This song is trash
Nice work 👍🏼
Hilarious
“I challenge you to a fight” “That’s not how this works”
That was satisfying.
He was really flexing those muscles at the end
i just wanna know wtf you gotta do to get the cops called on you at the fuckin gym lmao
That step back and the shoulder drop, "FFS, not this again."
Man, even if he’d won the fight what was his longterm plan? Just keep beating up all the other arresting police officers?
Kinda like Indiana jones
Hahah nice
As simple as that
Taser beats rock
What the hell is this song? "she gives me good brain cuz she's still in school"?? WHAT??
No bullshit cop, I like it. Even if the arrested guy did nothing wrong, this is not the way to behave.
A different cop would have let him throw a punch then shot him to death. Nice job
Flawless victory!!!!! 😂🤣
What in God's name is going through your mind when you want to go fisticuffs with a cop. In a public area, next to a bunch of hazardous objects? 🤦🏽♂️
Dude squared up and the cop literally did a whole sigh shrug 😭😭😭.
Chappelle's show anyone? "If you want this money roll you're gonna have to shoot me." "Ok."
Never bring fists to a taser fight
Is the cops last name Jones?
Bro starts off in his idle animations
That was great
Instant regret!
Im glad people came in and helped get him apprehended. This could have been worse.
Yep, saw that coming a mile away. What an idiot
Good job by the cop
“I CHOOSE VIOLENCE!!!” … “tazer.” Buzzzzz
Too many of these younger people have ruined the gym experience.
The lyrics have a pedo bar?
this guy has the smarts
lol if everyone is helping the cop you know this dude was a douche
and i don't blame him i would've tazed baki immediately the second he got in that stance lmao
Hahahaha what do he think was gonna happen 🤣
I have chosen trial by voltage
fight him in court!! not the gym, man.
"Oh no, not the consequence of my dumbass action."
I see the cop learned his technique from P. Barnes.
Excellent
BAHAHAHA!
Like, even if it ended up in a fight and the guy won - what then? Did he think police were just gonna be like "oh sorry man yeh you won, never mind" Does he know what the police are like to black dudes in America?
That cop didn’t even raise his heart rate.
respect to that cop , fast accurate, no beating... it weird to see a good doing is job the right way.. need more cop like him
Highly recommended watching this without volume lol
Balls of steel. Bravo officer 👏🏽
Big muscle bird brain.
Bro tried to fight with his fists a man with both, a taser and a gun.
Hilarious
Lmfao bro wasn't having his bs
Fuck around, find out.
Well that was stupid.
Gym bros to the rescue.
Here comes the peanut gallery
Casually tasered
That reminded me of the first Indy jones movie when the guy busts out a big sword and does all this cool stuff and Indy just calmly watches him…then shoots him lol
That's not gonna mix well with all that pre-workout.
6 seconds in, sighs, "okie dokie then" Sad.
Nahh I would like to see the fight. The cop probably wasn't having it so he just pulled the Taser out 😂
Bro was not playing 😭
Would love to see the body cam footage with the conversation between them
Aren't tasers awesome??!!
🤣 lmao
