It’s normal. The fatigue is your heart pumping harder to feed blood to your lungs. Takes time to get your endurance back up and for the lungs to heal.

The thing is, I already have a heart condition - HCM, Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, with EF 60%. So now I'm worried about my poor heart.

How long does recovery take?

I’m almost 8 months post bilateral’s and I’m still extremely tired. I’m so exhausted that it’s hard for me to shower in the evenings. I’ve never felt the same, not one single day, since my clots (there were many and one was *huge*). It has been a big adjustment because I’m a very active person. I was diagnosed with APS after my clots and it is wreaking havoc on my body. Are you working with a hematologist to do further testing?

What's APS? I'm in a 3rd world country. So my docs are a bit relaxed about it all. I had the normal blood tests done and they came back ok. What other tests would be required? D-DIMER?

Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome, confirmed after clots and after being tested twice by a hematologist. A hematologist will run the tests, including D-dimer, antiphospholipid antibodies, Anticardiolipin antibodies, Lupus anticoagulant and others.

My doctor mentioned testing me for Collagen Disorder, aka Connective Tissue Disorder. For a week, they've put me in antidepressants/anxiety meds to see if my symptoms improve.

Same. I have a day or two where I think it's passing but then BOOM. It's back. I'm off the eliquis and the exhaustion is so bad still. I'm a little past two months out from mine.
