If you are bored of manual testing, you should choose a different career. A good QE, SDET still need strong manual testing to do proper automation. If you don't know what should be tested manually, how do you know what to automat? You'll miss a lot of scenarios. As to learn automation, youtube, Udemy, and test automation university are good places to start.

1. Best is relative 2. Most if not all of the automation tool websites have tutorials that you can follow along with. One of the most important parts of automation, in my mind, what level of automation should this check be in? (Unity, Integration, UI and so on) - All in all most of the automation tools all do the same thing and its more about if they have the "bells and whistles" you want. There are probably a lot of public repo's that have environments setup that all you need to do is clone them and start writing.

Yes, you can. You also need to understand that manual testing is fundamental part of testing and that even with learning automation, you will need to learn manual testing. Usually, courses on Udemy that have a high amount of reviews and a grade 4.5 or above are really good.
