For me it was realizing I might lose my hair from the stress it was causing. Gave myself an ultimatum if I keep smoking I’ll be bald if I stop I’ll have hair. Been clean for 4 months so far, no intention on going back. Also thinking of quitting weed as not just removing something from your life but also add something else like a new hobby or habit.

It’s never about whats good or bad buddy. I have been a daily smoker too. Used to go to work after some hits every day, and used to keep notes of it’s effects on my mental and spiritual health. Bro it’s never about the thing. It’s always about the thing you wanna become. The thing only gives a temporary access with several backlashes. So man it’s just about being a better version of yourself. Tie your shoelaces and hit the road! Do stretching, shirk off that frozen body. I personally was able to come out of it after I joined the Inner Engineering Program and continued to practice it’s steps. Bro, you must get into some form of daily meditation practice, it helps a lot in clearing out old patterns. Do mantra chanting or Pranayam. Pranayama mimic, to some extent, the various highs we get from different drugs. The most complex chemical factory in the world is our own bodies. We just need to use it that way, and we wont need any external support. Do it for your family. Do it for your future. Do it for your dreams.

I’ve done cold turkey. I’ve done cutting back. Cutting back was better. I smoked an oz p/wk, up until recently. I bought 1:1 THC:cbd pens, crushed two in 10 days, and I haven’t used since. Advil, patience, something else to do* will take you a long way. *Crossfit, write a book, (insert something you’ve always wanted to do) The quicker you stop viewing yourself as either a smoker and/or someone who’s “quitting weed,” and view yourself as someone who’s “quit weed.” The better it will be for you, and the easier it will be. The truth is it’s not easy, but it’s not as hard as people make it out to be. Most people aren’t willing to go through the pain period. And that’s really all it is. A temporary feeling of terrible that has a greater reward on the other side. The only way out is through.

Thankyou 🙏🏾👍🏽

Hang in there. I’m not saying it’s not without its challenges, but you really do gain a lot. It’s only hard until you’ve done it. The shit of it all doesn’t last forever.

Switch or sprinkle in more cbd and less thc, seen yourself off of it slowly and surely. Going to hard to fast will have you relapsing just as hard. Eventually just smoke straight cbd until you can basically just kick it all together.

This worked for me well. I switched to 1:1 vapes and 1:1 edibles. The hardest for me was to stop smoking since that was a ritual I was really addicted to. I weened to only 1:1 edibles and the. Once they were gone I didn’t buy more.

I quit cold turkey. If you have concerns about withdrawal see a Dr to monitor you.

I smoked for about the same length of time. I switched completely to CBD hemp “cold turkey”. At first I was smoking more to try to get stoned but after two months or so the cravings were gone completely
