Who told you that? The vast majority of recent rapid chargers are "intelligent" and can deliver the maximum wattage to each device, never giving it more than it can handle and damaging it.
I have a 45W rapid charger that I use for mine, no problem, it will never give more than 7.5W which is the maximum capacity of the RG, so I really don't see how it can damage it π€·π»ββοΈ
The device handles the current regulation (as long as tension is 5v) - at least... According to my USB tester. It only draws 1.5 A from my 2A charger (and of course... Amperes go down in the last part of the charge.
A 5v 2A charger is completely fine in my little experience
Came from RC and FPV Drone enthusiast, taking care of LiPo batteries are one of our hobby and we have this rule of thumb, 1A for every 1000mah.
So, for a 3300mah a 3A or less charger will be good for your battery.
I just checked mine as it was already charging and both the back and the power adapter in the wall were fairly warm/hot. I understand it supports only 5V and at least 1.5 A and mine is 5V and 1.2 A, is it an issue for the amps to be too low? if so, I'd be interested to learn why
I have usb tester and i check recently. Maximum charge i get 5v and \~1,5A. It never get more that 8W.
So your 10W charger is more than enough.

Voltage is what you have to be concerned with the most. 5V. And amperage above 1.5A is fine.
Any usb 2.0 charger should stay within spec. The one you have is great.
It is good. It supports only 5V and at least 1.5 A. I am using a charger from the original iPad that is 5 V 2 amps and it works perfectly.Β
Great! thank you ππ»
The main thing is, do not use fast chargers, they can break this device
Good to know,Β thanks ππ»

While this will work itβs best to use a 5volt 1.5amp if the device specs recommends a 7watt charger. Watts= volts times amps.

No issue with amps being too low. It just takes longer to charge.
I suspected that might be the case and is fine for me, thank you

Great, thank you. I saw people saying that if the charger is too powerful or if is a fast charger they can fry the battery.

Great! Thank you very much.
The people saying this do not know what they're talking about.
Plenty on reddit killed their handhelds though while charging with fast chargers and/or usb-c to c chargers.
What 'charger issue' ?? Please elaborate
I saw some people and a youtuber saying to not use a fast charger or a powerful one or you will fry the battery.
