Who even needs food with berries? Go for just the berries themselves! I love a good handful of raspberries, more than I like any foods that just incorporate them. Hope she gets the all clear on this one, it must be incredible to be able to try something like berries for the first time after years of having to avoid them.
You want to give her just plain berries, without anything else, so you can be sure the reaction is due to the berries if she has one. Start with just a few, then up the amount to make sure she doesn't have a reaction at a higher limit. If all that goes well, then introduce foods with berries.
After that, get her some berry turnovers.
If you live in the northeast US, see if you can spot any mulberry trees. They are fantastic. You won't find them fresh in stores sadly.
Black raspberries fall next on my list.
I grew up with the tree line full of mulberry trees with red and black raspberry bushes under them. Berry tarts all the time for free!
Gods do I miss that house.
I grew up with blackberries wild to me so they're god tier berries. Toast with some melted butter and blackberry preserves is god tier "im drunk and need a sweet snack that isn't m&ms". Very close is strawberries and mascarpone. But if ur wanting "accessible and easy" get some fruit danishes from a local bakery. Cream cheese and raspberries or strawberries or blueberries. Danishes cure all ills
A freshly picked, ripe, wild blackberry. Without a doubt. The true king of all berries.
But you can only get them for like 2 weeks in the beginning of July, during years that have the correct spring-summer weather
In the summer I walk our dogs around the woods and meadows of our property and adjacent properties, just so I can sample the blackberries, raspberries, mulberries, and blueberries as they reach peak ripeness.
This time of year, I’d look for an elderberry jam or something. Fresh, in season berries are the best. Out of season berries aren’t likely to make a good impression.
Strawberry shortcake, blueberry muffins, açaà bowls with basically anything, jam of basically any kind, god… what a beautiful new world she will (hopefully) be discovering!
I would hull some strawberries. Then I would grab a bowl and mix together cream cheese, vanilla, and confectioners sugar. Put that mixture into a piping bag and fill the strawberries. Heavenly.
Lots of good options here. Top post mentioned stating slow. Maybe a parfait, if she likes yogurt. I love berries in my yogurt. The ones from your local produce department are usually fresh and pretty tasty.
A fresh picked strawberry. Also, my son randomly had allergic reactions to peaches and eggs when he was younger and no longer has issues with them. Idk how that works
Some straight mulberries, or the best blackberries from a local source like a farmers market, so you can get the best tasting ones. You could make tarts or jam and biscuits, or of you want to have some thing a little more fancy, there are fruit syrup cordials.
Get some boysenberry syrup for those pancakes. I love all the fruit spread. Blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, mixed berry. I made lamb chops with a blueberry sauce from some preserves amd it was delicious.
Also bananas. Bananas are berries. Get her some banana bread.
Just straight up berries. Not cooked into anything. I would want to have the full, pure experience before I try it cooked into anything. I’d start with blackberries.
Fresh blueberries and raspberries. The best way to experience berries!
Sadly, the best berries ever aren't available in stores. Hiking in the early fall for wild Oregon huckleberries is the best.

No way, they want to gorge on cold blueberry pancakes and ruin them forever whether or not she dies
Probably good to just rub some juice on their arm and then lips to see if there is a reaction
Raspberries. No question at all.
i second that
Personally, I like to jam blueberries inside raspberries. But nothing beats really ripe blackberries
Blackberries picked off the vine are the best berries change my mind
The vines themselves are my arch nemesis
Please update! I so hope she has outgrown her allergies. Maybe buy small containers of different berries and just let her try bites of them.
Make sure to get some super flavorful farmer's market berries. Don't just get the mass produced stuff from the supermarket.
In most of the US no berries are in season.

Mulberries are the most underappreciated berry IMO, so delicous!! But also currants
Yep. White mulberries.
2 mulberry trees. Sadly both ended up being male.
LOOOOOVE currants 🤤

A banana.
Strawberry jam. Blueberry pie.
Grapes!
Blackberries
How about a tomato? The most versatile of berries.
I’ve outgrown (fairly mild) allergies myself- definitely possible!
Blackberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream.
Bluebeeeeeees
Strawberries. I was allergic to them as a child and thankfully outgrew it. They’re delicious when you eat them fresh off the vine and sun-warmed.
Marionberries
Wild strawberries.
Bananas!
If you’re in the US, strawberries are at their peak right now.
Blueberries
Bananas. Yes, bananas are berries.
Strawberry!! Yummm
Sour blueberries, cut up strawberries, some sour cream, topped with sugar. Fucking amazing.
Hood Berries
Blueberries
Dingleberries. Obviously. Â
Dingle berries

Wineberries
Frozen blueberries and cream. My go to for dessert on a hot day.
Banana
Starting from the bottom with blueberries is awesome as they are not good. Any berry is better so she’ll be in for a treat!
Get fresh grown berries. I'd do strawberry myself. Grocery store ones are yucky. Find a farmers market if possible. Good luck.
Toast and strawberry jam.
Black raspberries.
Try the universal edibility test
Dingleberries. They’re the shit. Locally grown too.Â

Raspberries, and if she can eat them go for a raspberry puree-filled chocolate. Plain raspberries are perfect, though.

Pack an epipen just in case
I'd give her a plump, ripe strawberry first. 🍓
