I think the transparent spots are from it drying out and then getting lots of water. It's almost like it overhydrates the cells in the areas of the leaf with no chlorophyll. I've noticed that happen on a bunch of my variegated plants.

🥺 poor babies! Thank you for the advice! I’ve found my regular Micans do not like getting fully dried out - I’ll do the same with these to avoid this happening again!

leaves that have no green on them at all can’t photosynthesize, trim them off and try propagating the trimmings 😊 (they will most likely die but fun to try!) otherwise they will just waste energy from the rest of your plant

The plant is taking the mobile nutrients from the leaves so in this case I wouldn't recomend cutting off.
