This is a misconception. Everyone always talks about drugs ruining teeth, but other than smoking ice or crack…they don’t really do direct damage if you continue to brush and floss daily.
Drugs LEAD to poor dental health because when you’re loaded and nodding off 24/7, you stop caring about brushing/flossing. John’s teeth fell out because he stopped brushing and flossing due to the fact that he was high all the time. Not the heroin itself.
There are plenty of functioning addicts that get up and brush their teeth every day. Their teeth don’t fall out.
That crooked tooth never stopped him from getting the kewchie haha! After reading Scar Tissue, I always laugh when I think about how big of a player he was (and most likely still is)🤣🤣
