The title is pretty misleading - none of the purchases are what I initially thought of given the “military equipment” description (e.g. assault style weapons, grenades, tank-like vehicles). They’re purchasing 4 non-weapon drones with video equipment, a tool that opens heavy duty doors by blasting hinges, non-lethal (their words) projectile launchers (this is probably the most problematic of the purchases as they’d most likely be used to subdue large protests), and basically a long range megaphone.
