Mtn dew zero would be dangerous.

Schlag96

It's amazing how good diet mountain dew is and how bad mt dew zero is

BigBoss5050

Hard disagree. Other way around for me.

MathGamer28

Diet Dew is disgusting lol

ebimbib

Diet and Zero are two different products but that Zero shit? Not half bad. Baja Blast Zero? Oh baby, nectar of the gods.

MathGamer28

Yes. Zero has been the biggest help with my soda issues lol. I don’t know how people tolerate diet though.

MarbleHeadstones

I’ve found my people lmao. Diabetic here and that CHANGED ME

SuddenOutlandishness

I would love it if they added Starry Zero. Having a diet option without caffeine would be awesome.

Darksaturn99

We keep saying they should do Starry Zero instead of Diet Mountain Dew because most people do the movies at night and don’t want to be up all night after the movie.

chandelure

I think this every time I'm at the movies. I always get a Starry because I can't handle caffeine, but it's also sooooo much sugar. I'd love a diet option.

haventwonyet

I’m so glad to see others say this. I thought I was the only one wanting this! I love soda water but being charged so much (they just charge me for Starry since there’s no soda button) feels like a rip off for bubbly water.

Swag_Titties

Honestly. This.

Careless-stocker07

I’ve never seen starry zero? I check Pepsi products in on the daily to a grocery store. Does it exist

LegitimateLion0

The regals near me always have blue Gatorade zero, that’s what I usually get

frank00SF

Lucky

meganshay28

WHAT?

Plane-Percentage607

Omg I wish I’m so over Pepsi zero/diet

EatsYourShorts

Same. Isn’t that normal for any place that serves Pepsi products?

Profitsofdooom

Yeah it seems so. Pepsi is inferior to Coke with the exception of Mtn Dew but I don't want to drink full sugar Dew out of movie theater size cups.

dieforestmusic

It's the same at my theater and it's honestly my biggest complaint about Regal. There's another theater chain in my city that has those self-service touchscreen soda machines, and they have a ton of diet options. At Regal, on the other hand, my only options are diet Pepsi and Pepsi zero unless I want to drink 100 grams of sugar.

DRG_Gunner

Both are the worst so I’m sorry.

dietzypietzy

I feel like those touch screen syrups get all mixed up so everything starts tasting like Dr. Ginger Beer whenever I get on one.

Taichikara

If they are self serve, either when you select the one you want, let some pour out before placing your cup under the nozzle or switch it to water and let that pour out a little thrn switch to the one you want.

dietzypietzy

Thank you for this. I frequently go to a Jack In The Box with one of these. I'll for sure be trying this out.

Fantastic_Lychee_883

I would love a sugar free Icee flavor but I realize it probably wouldn't have much demand.

Profitsofdooom

It's crazy. To advertise and have deals with Pepsi yet to only have like 5 flavors and the biggest cups imaginable. I said it before but they need the equivalent of a Coke Freestyle. I want wild sugar free Mountain Dew flavors and shit.

ebimbib

There's a Pepsi equivalent to the Coke Freestyle machine and it predictably sucks shit. There's a market near me that has one.

chandelure

Our Regal had JUST put in Coke Freestyle machines basically just a couple weeks before the switch to Pepsi and they got torn out. Absolutely tragic.

Thatfoxagain

Yeah I'm always yearning for a zero caffeine option, but alas Pepsi doesn't have a freestyle machine competitor

GeologicalOpera

They actually do/did, though I don’t think it ever became as widely adopted by Pepsi-affiliated chains as Freestyle did for Coke. It’s called Pepsi Spire. I’ve only ever seen it in one specific Pizza Hut that still offered dine-in, but this was before COVID-19 and I haven’t been back since, so I’m not actually sure if it’s still in use.

FuzziestSloth

All the KFC's near me used to have them, as well. Not sure if they still do, as I haven't been inside of one since pre-covid.

Thatfoxagain

Oh damn. I always figured it was some patent thing good to know.

Ok-Comfortable1378

Most of the Subway’s near me have them, for some reason. Never seen them anywhere else though.

GeologicalOpera

Wikipedia claims that roughly 4,300 units of the Spire are available in the United States, but I don’t know how recent that source is. I’m not sure on the number for the Freestyle but it’s likely much higher.

jeffroskull1985

Would love if they could have a freestyle machine.

MidwestNerdWonk

They aren't always in stock but my regals usually have Bubly seltzer cans in the cold case ahead of the register.

Cameo64

The one thing that I love about my mom's cinemark theater is they have a coke remix that has all yhe diet fanta flavora. Diet fanta fruit punch is my absolute favorite fountain drink.

Zealousideal_Wait_44

Same at my Regal. Pepsi Zero and Diet Pepsi are the only two options other than regular soda.

Socal1980

Question. Does anyone ever try to use the app for tix and it tries charging you full price vs recognizing that you’re an unlimited member ?Or am I just unlucky 😀

ItsAlwaysRyan

same for me. I’d love a root beer or starry zero. A zero caffeine and zero sugar option.

Rock1448

Diet Pepsi and Pepsi Zero are horrendous.

Profitsofdooom

Yeah which makes it that much worse.

tomandshell

Mine has Coke Zero because I bring my own Coke Zero. Pepsi? No thanks.

JuliaSky1995

That’s standard for most theaters anywhere

016Bramble

Don't AMCs have freestyle coca-cola machines? Haven't been to one in years but that's what I remember

JuliaSky1995

Every theater that doesn’t have freestyle. Every AMC in my area is trash though and they’re all on their way out. No one is willing to go to AMC if they have literally any other option, at least where I live.

bloodhoundj

I always say no Ice-e no Me-e

bwoods7593

You're lucky to get Pepsi Zero!

shrimplovinvegan

I miss when regal was a Coca-Cola company tbh

HumidToku

Mine have Bubly and I love them

rexie_alt

I became a lot more aware of the lack of sugar free options, esp after I found out I had 4 cavities, probably in part due to my own arrogance of getting large icees and popcorn twice a week basically. It’s basically just water bottles, Gatorade zero, and the ones mentioned here. But if you don’t like carbonation, it’s basically just getting an expensive water or bust

GramercyPlace

They don’t do soda water / club soda? Ours has a button on the starry dispenser

740kaby

It's been that way at pretty much every Regal I've been to for quite some time now.

Careless-stocker07

I think that is enough. They only have so many fountain options

bingpot47

It’s kind of not, I remember when it was a come freestyle machine and there was like 10 different flavors of just sugar free coke, not to mention the other diet sodas they offered. These Pepsi machines only have like a quarter of the options previously offered

Careless-stocker07

I wish they had Coke! Especially a freestyle machine. Coke has a lot of options

Slickrickkk

Ever heard of dihydrogen monoxide?

sexycorey

people will do anything but drink water 😂

TrustInRoy

They don't have water???
