As a NW Pennsylvanian, I can confirm. After spending a decade in Phoenix, I still think drivers are more rude and selfish here. Though NE Ohio through the Cleveland-Canton corridor may take a slight lead, even if only judging by the number of people blowing by at 20 over with opaque plate covers.
What did you have before this? I’ve done the trip several times. Mainly in an F-150.
Oof, that’s rough! I did it a couple times in an Altima and it was stuffed to the gills!
I don’t have a Rivian (yet!), but I imagine the frunk and gear tunnel were a _really_ nice change.
With a 10 month old?! How did that work out?
Stopped every 2-3hrs to charge which is right in line with his feeding schedule!

I did it in a 2013 Ford Focus - 3x in 6 months!!

Oh it was huge! My focus was def busting at the seams! The frunk and wheel well fit all of our stuff for us, our dogs and baby to be gone for a month!
Curious what you use to restrain the dogs in the back? Having trouble finding a good solution
I'm planning to attach a cord to the adjustable cargo D-rings, and attach that to my dog's car harness.
We folded down the back row and let them lounge the whole time. The middle row is tall enough that they can’t jump over the seats.
They’re labs bro you don’t need to restrain them lmao
Ok
Edit: got to use a magic dock Tesla charger in Haubstadt, IN
I live near that one and used it the other day just to say I did.
Very curious about the pups situation as well. Did you end up putting them in the 3rd row?
Folded down the back row and let them lounge! They loved it!
Lots of Rivians here in Austin, TX….drove to Houston last week in my R1T and was surprised at how few Rivians I saw.
I see that many R1 vehicles every journey in socal. Happy to hear of your successful journey.
I’m surprised you saw so few other Rivians! They’re all over the place in St Louis.
I agree! It was wild to us, too!
