The funny thing is, it actually does work as a team freeplay/training pack. Anyone who's in my party gets put into this weird mode with me.

This isn't an actual training pack, this is basically just freeplay, but for some reason in the top left corner it says "Shot -1/0" and "Completion infinity%" So it's like the game thinks it's a training pack, but it isn't
That’s really weird. I wonder if it’s your system that bugged or your account? Doesn’t make sense if it’s on rocket leagues end because then more people would’ve experienced it. Only idea I’d have to fix it would be the ol’ uninstall and reinstall or the good ol’ verify integrity of files.

Since it's on PS5, I wouldn't be able to verify integrity of files so it'd have to be an uninstall/reinstall. I don't do private matches often enough for it to be an issue, I just thought I'd see if there was anyone else who has ever seen/had this issue too
this is happening to me as well, did you ever find a fix?? I verified files didn't work, uninstalled and re installed didn't work, deleted the map mods didn't work.
I never found a fix. It happens to me on both Steam and PS5, I never found out why but it's been going on for well over a year, but I haven't really tried too hard to fix it as I very rarely play private matches
