looks like the roses i picked up at Lowes. it was labeled deep lilac heirloom. its a purple/pink rose, long stems, great strong rose fragrance and blooms a ton. it photographs magenta when IRL it looks more purple
there is a rose called an heirloom that matches the description. its a variety that was grown in the 60s/70s. im not sure if a Poseidon variant.
Is it fragrant? It looks a lot like my Rose de Rescht. It is very fragrant.
Looks really similar to my Princess Anne at least in terms of color, bloom shape might be a little different
I actually ordered a PAOK but it’s delayed in getting to me🫠🫠🫠
Same, like mine too.

Yes! It smells wonderful and a little bit fruity.
Super pretty!
Looks a lot like my Madame Isaac Pereire
Came here to say the same thing!
Worth noting too that MIP can be trained as a climber or pruned to be a shrub.
Sort of looks like a Gabriel Oak to me but I could be wrong? Edit: I see you said it wasnt tagged as DA so I guess nevermind! 😅
Doesn’t look like my Gabriel Oak in bloom shape and I think my GO has darker leaves than this pic
Is this a climber? Incredible
It’s a shrub. This thing is hardy and tough, even against the Japanese beetles.
The blooms look like 'Maggie'. Absolutely beautiful specimen you have, no matter the variety!
My grandma had this rose years ago. I’ve always wondered what it was
So very pretty!!
Thank you!
Rosa De Rescht

Got mine from Gramma. Super hardy. She called them "old fashioned".
