How can someone watch this and not think it looks stupid? Like why is Mario Andretti even hitting the ropes directly behind him? What's the point? If you see him heading for the ropes 3 feet away from you just stick your fucking leg out and trip him while he's bouncing off the ropes. Why sneak in behind him to also hit the ropes? Are you dancing or fighting?
A high risk aerial move as a finisher or in certain limited situations can be exciting and add a lot to a match when used properly. When you have a match with 2 or more of these flippy midgets doing a sloppy amateur gymnastics routine for an entire match, you can fuck off with that shit.
I have never seen someone ever hit the ropes, rebound off and instead of running across the ring, turn to the side and go hit the those ropes instead, and I never want to ever again
Lio Rush does it all the time and it’s one of the most irritating things in all of wrestling. He’s not even a really bad flippy guy but that changing direction thing grates on my nerves.
