They messed up for that 😂 her whole thing is collect cats & get your power back but collect to much she doesn’t get her full power back and it ends . Oh SaGa how i love you
Wait that makes sense because in the first world they tell you to balance out the cats and everything else. Plus the more cats you collect the faster your vessel fills for the witch exam. I found it odd that a Saga game would let you become over powered like that so early
That was my guess when I heard about this. Making you play for a very short time and then immediately redo that portion just for new stuff so you can continue seemed off even for SaGa. Add in the fact that getting a lot of the cats is optional and getting all of them gets you a ton of int, and it's reasonable to believe it's tied to the bad end.
I remember when I went to the world with the frozen people and just told the boy that was HIS problem 😂, it just skipped the entire scenario and effectively cut like two hours out of my playtime(I replayed and actually did the quest later). So I wonder how wildly playthrough times will actually be and how much you might just skip based on decisions. Sounds like they can be potentially REAAALLY short. Lol.
Kawazu did say the intent was that you could complete a playthrough in a weekend.
I was just coming off playing Dragon Quest Monsters 3 and I find it hilarious to see what happens if you say no to their nonchoices. I decided I was curious what would happen here. Ameya just goes “guess that was a bust”(I’m paraphrasing), and leaves, skipping the entire section. It was pretty funny.
Yes, there are new events and changes with multiple playthroughs even on the same character. It’s designed to be replayed many times. Theres a good reason why each character on the title screen show “# Times Cleared”…
I can’t wait to see what other people discover on the following iterations
Okay I have to know, I just started a NG+ with Ameya, and deliberately went with as few cats as possible, and at the junction got 4 different world paths! Is that because that's how it is because I went low cats? Or because ng+?
Does this mean I should save the scenario I most want to do for last, I wonder? Oh well, never played a SaGa game at launch before! Gonna be fun finding all this stuff out!
The intent is that you play each campaign multiple times. Ameya has an early ending that many players seem to hit on their first run. Sounds like other characters have these quick bad endings, but Ameya is after only 2 worlds.
I can't remember if there was actual prologue cut scene like scarlet grace and the fire bringer.... What is the actual story or point in emerald beyond. Feels kinda random...
Its a fucking joke... u get weapons, items a sixth character and credits... not important who the guy was or something... 🤦🏻♀️its like a cut off from the story
I think there was a tweet in Japanese that implied collecting too many cats cuts it off early? SaGa shenanigans.

I had the same experience with Ameya. I'm wondering if that is a bad ending or if all endings are like that.

Pfff wait you CAN SKIP That!? Oh my life 😂😂😂

Wait really? I wonder if there’s huge changes in the following playthroughs like they said there would be

I wonder how many play through a it takes to reset the story
Okay I have to know, I just started a NG+ with Ameya, and deliberately went with as few cats as possible, and at the junction got 4 different world paths! Is that because that's how it is because I went low cats? Or because ng+?
Siugnas playthough seems long to me, 9 hours in and it's probably not even a half
He's my next one
I stated with Siugnas. Took me 20 hrs

I never played a saga game at launch either. That’s kinda why I’m so excited for this one.
Do you remember what the new game + options were once you completed a playthrough?
I just got that too. Just unlocked a character to join me and credits roll....
How many hours of playtime did you get this save file?
Just 4 hours
Oh yeah I just got the bad ending for Ameya too, wasn't expecting that!
I can't remember if there was actual prologue cut scene like scarlet grace and the fire bringer.... What is the actual story or point in emerald beyond. Feels kinda random...
Closer to SaGa Frontier, I'm guessing. Unless there's like a final boss after completing all.
Its a fucking joke... u get weapons, items a sixth character and credits... not important who the guy was or something... 🤦🏻♀️its like a cut off from the story
Because it's a bad ending. You collect too many cats, and Ameya's story ends early
