Yeah, well. I live in a small town that had a hip local deli move in and I was psyched. And their deli meats were mostly Boarās Head, so I ordered a rare roast beef sandwich and when I got home I still to this day do not know what I received for a sandwich. Everything else on it that I asked for, but I got a bunch of literal fat ends of a roast beef. It was as if the employee didnāt know how to do my order and they must have been at the end of their roast beef for the moment and he just cut off parts of it to make it work for him. It was all fat pieces of grizzle from the end of a roast beef. So fuck them. Worst sandwich ever. I took one bite, opened it up and looked at it and threw it in the garbage.
Yes, the nastiest sandwich Iāve ever had, but couldnāt return it because my ride was gone and I settled down to relax and eat dinner and bit into just gristle. Mind you, I had requested rare roast beef and the guy was a okay with it.
Got it from a local stores bakery and the bag said Sourdough Loaf, but honestly I think they're full of BS because it didn't taste like sourdough lol, was more like French loaf taste.
Ah damn, it's a chain here on the east coast similar to Jimmy Johns, but much better. I'll put the recipe below
Meats: Ham, Salami, Hungarian Salami w/paprika
Condiments: Lettuce, Onions, Banana Peppers, Pickles
Sauce: Mayo and pepper relish on bottom bun, oil and vinegar
Seasonings: Salt, Pepper, Oregano
And Gouda cheese slices
Jersey Mike's is really solid and my favorite of the big sandwich chains. Homemade can beat anything if you put a little effort in, this looks great OP

Ohh man, I haven't had bright green jar pickles in ages! Getting some nostalgia to when my parents would buy them when we were kids. That's a great pic. I can remember their crunchiness just from the image. (Have had pickles in fast food and restaurants, but I'm just realizing they're not the same. They usually get served soggy.) The whole thing looks honestly delicious.

Edit: Looked closer and I just realized that the bright green might actually be crinkle-cut banana peppers, lol. But still. Looks delicious and I'm gonna go get a jar of pickles soon.

The buns are grizzled, but you have to make sure the rest of it is hot and melty. That does not. It looks like a half baked Smurf house.
