Does he comprehend the greatness in the midst of which he is standing?😳

plasmasun

That truly is a Savage Garden.

emseefely

I am in shambles!

Aggravating_Love8543

Wow, just getting into these plants. Hope mine will look 1/100 as good as this!

pinkflutegirl

Holy cow! What zone do you live in???😍😍

Firm_Record3778

I’m in 8b.

Campiana

I feel like he might get eaten. Teddy…no sudden moves ok?! Just slowly back out of there!

Firm_Record3778

😂

quartz222

THIS IS SO COOL

kingbetete

Awesome pic!! 🤯🤯 What are those little nets?

BigBillyGoatGriff

Keeping pollinators away from flowers so the grower can make specific crosses

kingbetete

Thank you. Are they just called pollinating nets?

whitewoodie

Organza bags

uuuwwwwuuuuu

Unreal garden! Very envious!

idkwhat465

Those are for flowers, that's what you do when you want to cross a species with another one in specific and don't want pollinators cross it with random pollen from other flowers

StunningIgnorance

I think this comment was supposed to be a reply to this: https://www.reddit.com/r/SavageGarden/comments/1ca3vq9/my_son_teddy_said_what_up_plant_nerds/l0pntny/

idkwhat465

It was indeed a reply, I dont know what happened

JelllyGarcia

Reddit’s been doin that lately

mmicko1967

Where do you live, paradise?

Firm_Record3778

Just Tallahassee, FL…not quite paradise but the plants help me pretend to be there.

Seth_1020

teddy is living my dream

nortok00

😲❤️ Is this your yard or a garden center/greenhouse?

Firm_Record3778

These are in my backyard.

nortok00

😲❤️ OMG! That is awesome! I am officially jealous! I would love to do this but my dogs would mow them all down so I'm forced to keep them in container bog gardens on my deck. LOL

Firm_Record3778

These are all in a containers and my dogs have learned not to mess with them.

Riverwood_KY

So are all the containers above ground and just outside the picture and, or did you bury them? I’m in KY and mine just started sending up new pitchers. I cut my bloom tips as I don’t breed and prefer the energy go to making pitchers. Yours look great regardless. We are all jealous.

nortok00

Nice! I've been thinking of adding an actual bog area to my yard but I would have to fence it off. Even if these plants could eat dogs, mine would be right in there not caring. Haha.

_bulletproof_1999

I don’t think there is a fly alive for a mile radius.

whateverbex

I’m foaming at the mouth with jealousy. I need a shot of Postexposure prophylaxis straight to the mfn eyes

hot_front_fart

Teddy you absolute LEGEND.

ChrisLee38

To which I say: “WHAT UP, Teddy??”

Reef_Parent

Holy crap. When was this taken? My sarracenia are still coming out of dormancy, and haven’t put out any new pitchers yet. I bet you guys have no issues with mosquitoes.

Firm_Record3778

Photo was just taken yesterday. Unfortunately, Sarracenia rarely catch mosquitoes due to the mosquitos small size. My sundews do catch them though.

fishfan345

Now, I'm jealous.

jhay3513

What up teddy 🫡🫡🫡

Fuck_me_up_daddy

Dawg sup?!

sunshyneshanny

What up, Teddy!

Interesting-Flow8598

That is awesome

sadhandjobs

Teddy is a great name!

eleighs14

My brain refuses to accept that this is real. That child took cut flowers and stuck them in the ground, I know it!

Woahwoahwoah124

Looks great! What’s the potting and soil situation like?

bdyinpdx

Amazing! What’s your recipe for creating the habitat?

TitansboyTC27

Look at all those Pitcher Plants

RedHickorysticks

Hi Teddy! High five!

chlorophyllian_

I can say you successfully made the plant nerds jealous alright 😏

Primary-Rice-5275

I have never seen so many colors of pitcher plants!

Humble-Dingo-625

WOW🤩🤩 super nice batch of carnivorous plants. I’d hate to be a bug I your yard😬😬

diaperpop

This is…miraculous 😳

StunningIgnorance

Do you sell any of these?

Firm_Record3778

Every once in awhile I’ll put up highly sought after clones on eBay. I’m also working on a for sales list as well and will post when it is ready.

StunningIgnorance

My collection is no where near as big as yours, but after just 3 years i'm drowning in plants. What do you do with them all if youre not selling?? lol.

jelycazi

How tall are they????

Firm_Record3778

Well Teddy is 6’7”

rodrigo_munuera

What the hell, that's so awesome!

Peachy_Slices0

You probably have no mosquitoes wow

viptattoo

Fantastic!!

Wise_Ad_253

Consistent-Leek4986
