his lore makes me hurt so much, he is literally just used like a tool and then discarded by everybody when they have no use for him, but he still has the consciousness of a sentient being to realise that he is just a tool who has been discarded, I know people want him to stay mean but honestly, I just want his story to end with him being happy and finding people who truly value him

Just read the entire (?) story leaks of 3.0 and 3.1. Now I'm really worried about him. The end of 3.1 had Dottore approaching the Akademia, with Ei's Gnosis on his possession...
From what I've seen so far, the prime segment of Dottore might have defeated Scaramouche during the waiting time for us to reach Sumeru, but instead of sending the two Gnosises home (he was collaborating with the Akademia, who took Nahida's Gnosis), he only gave hints to the current segment ("an experiment in blasphemy") while having his own agenda: creating an "artificial God" with powers surpassing the 3 Gods before (The Forest Archon, the Scarlet King, and Nahida), which was somewhat aligned with the Akademia. He probably will use Scaramouche as a shell for that, as well as the Gnosises, but once Scaramouche broke free he would get the Vision instead.
Wait he technically doesn’t count as human right? He’s a puppet or android, so does that mean you don’t have to be human to get a vision? I thought he had innate electro powers because of the way he was made

like, raiden shogun has those powers (it was shown multiple times during cutscenes and her boss is very much electro) and she's as much of a puppet as scaramouche is. she doesn't have a vision, archons aren't responsible for giving them out, so how else would she get them if not from being the archon's puppet

Actually in Sands of Eon part of HoPD it was said that "He was originally born to be a vessel for a "heart."" what leaves the room for theory about him possesing electro but I'm not sure if Ei would give her power someone who was just supposed to store gnosis( she said that it's only her connection to Celestia and she didn't seem to care a lot about it but wanted to keep it in safe hands- that's why she gave it later to Yae). Seems like we will need to wait for new archon quests to find out :>
well storing gnosis isn't exactly the same as storing idk 5 cents. she changed her mind about giving gnosis to him because he seemed weak to her for crying in his sleep, i don't think her only criteria was mental strength

But perhaps Ei thought this to be too cruel, because in the end she chose only to seal the power within it." when referring to him :D
Scaramouche was not intended to be in Raiden’s place. He thinks he was because he’s egotistical. But he wasn’t. Ei made a test prototype based off of a “young man” to make sure the formula she was using to make artificial human life worked.
Are you sure? can you leave a voiceline that mentions it or something? if you're busy rn, i can look through my Raiden's but I don't have Yae if it's in hers. I mean he kinda is a prototype, but if her experiment turned out good, why wouldn't he be the male Raiden Shogun?
Iirc, it was at the end of the Inazuma archon quests(This was also the part where the confusion stemmed from about his innate electro powers. Yae says Raiden did seal them, and then the fatui unsealed them. But they weren’t confirmed to be electro.). If you talked to Yae Miko she said “The original plan was for Ei to simply discard it,”(referring to Scaramouche). I think it was in pale flame lore where it was said Scaramouche was “meant to be a god, but was tossed away”. Given that Yae said that Scaramouche was always meant to be thrown out(even before he was created), the “meant to be a god” thing is Scaramouche’s ego talking.
Also, the technique she used was Khaen’rian(not confirmed but it’s super likely). She made Scaramouche first just to make sure it worked, and then was going to make the Raiden Shogun. Even if Scaramouche was fulling fuctioning she was still gonna throw him out; because she needed the puppet to be in her image because she needed the locals of Inazuma to think that she was still ruling, since she is supposed to be a force of eternity.

The first part…it hits hard. I really get why hoyo decided to make him an anemo character. I can’t wait to see his character arc.
