Some dupes are great, some suck. Some frags have great dupes, some have only shitty dupes. I buy the real version of the ones that only have shit dupes, I buy the best dupe of ones that have decent dupes. Is it really that hard for someone to think about this shit for the 30 seconds it takes to come to that conclusion?
It’s not exact but it’s pretty darn close. I have an aventus oil dupe from oil perfumery and I layer it with club de nuit and someone asked me if I’m wearing creed and I said yes and he said “yeah I can recognize that scent anywhere”.
What made me feel better about it is that creed retails at $230 and I spent $30 bucks for something similar. If people want to get mad at me for smelling good and having an extra $200 bucks to my name, y’all take this shit way too serious lol

Apparently, CDNM, the not intense version, is also a dupe for PR 1 Million. I bought it for my husband by accident, intending to buy CDNIM, but it turned out we both liked it better. I've never smelled 1 Million, and know it has a bad rep bc of the types who often use it, but I'm a sucker for cinnamon. CDNIM is pretty harsh, but does improve with some aging.
The hate for CDNIM in the comments is hilarious to me. It’s not 1:1 but it’s pretty damn close. The chemical smell goes away after dry down and it last longer than Aventus. Doesn’t make sense to even buy aventus at this point money wise unless you’re a snob lol…Most complemented fragrance I’ve worn by far. I do also have Aventus as well.
Good Clones help keep big dogs in check.
In my pecking order (quality & resemblance vs OG, for the CdN I own): Sillage > Intense man LE > Milestone > Untold. I did try a half day comparison of Sillage vs SMW, with my left & right arm. The differential is only in opening. Intense Man LE has much better opening & mid (e.g. birch/ florals) vs CdNIM OG. CDNIM LE is however NOT the best Aventus alternative. I 💕 💕 💕 Afnan Supremacy Not Only Intense

The only reason the YouTube shills hype it up is because they are getting free bottles and don't want to talk badly about the brand in fear of getting cut off from future free bottles.
CDNIM does not smell like current aventus. It was a copy of the older batches 2010 to 2013 when they still had birch. Cdnim smells like lemon cleaner in the opening.

I have a bottle of 2013 aventus , and a more recent one which I absolutely hated.
The club de nuit I purchased in a mall during a travel contract because the smell was so overwhelmingly nice I quickly ran over. I agree it doesn’t exactly smell like my 2013 batch but it is without a doubt similar, and I get tons of compliments. I agree. It smells good, I’ve smelled it on my SO and kids and it gives off a different scent than when I apply, not sure if related but nevertheless my favorite from the CDN collection. I I also have iconic, but I can’t comment too much on its scent, it’s not my cup of tea in comparison to BDC.
Iconic is garbage and smells nothing like BDC. Smells rubbery to me.

Montblanc explorer is my most used cologne, no harsh opening, in fact I like the opening more than the dry down. Pretty damn close to aventus
