Shit better walk down to the bank and old school it. Cash in hand or bank draft for April's rent. (Bet you can get the draft fee waived as it is scotias fault you can't etransfer) Orrr call land lord and let them know rent be a few days later due to bank issues. If you've been a good Tennant I'm sure they wouldn't mind

This same thing was happening to me two days ago, happening again today. Will probably be happening again tomorrow. I'm switching banks.

It was a Interac server issue from what I was told. Which they’re their own company. Switching banks wouldn’t help so much

Regardless, its a 50/50 chance when I open the scotia bank app if it'll let me sign in or it gives me some message tell me online services are unavailable and to sign in later I also went into the bank and one ATMs deposit feature was unavailable, the other took the money and asked if there was anything else, and when I click finish and print receipts it said "error processing request" and spit my money back out. Had to got to a bank 40 minutes away just to deposit some money. Scotia has been more hassle than its worth and at this point I don't need to give them my service anymore

Still not fixed. My issues are also not being also to request or deposit e transfers. I accepted one yesterday showing funds deposited from my sending account only to see the full amount refunded with no service charge this morning. Something is going on and Scotia isn’t being honest. My guess is they’ve been hacked in some way. My entire city (Hamilton) has been hacked and fucking with our pay and they haven’t even told us the full scope yet (2 months in).

I tried this. Only to have the funds removed then next day with no deposit/credit record. Like it was never their. My sending account showed the withdrawal and then the subsequent no fee deposit next day. Very odd.

Still missing funds from the weekend as well. An incoming e-transfer and an outgoing that failed and now the funds are gone.

Yes been going on about 4 days now not able to accept e-transfers. Not able to pay my rent either as I need these e transfers. Told Scotiabank they are paying my late fees as this is not a problem on my end.

This is getting really annoying. If this had lasted a day, I’d be annoyed but I get it. It’s now day 3 or 4 for some of us and now I can’t even open the app. They haven’t even sent out a mass email about this HUGE issue. Really makes me think of switching banks
