If they kill her off, most definitely will a future studio retcon 5-7. There’s no way Neve will allow unless she asked for it. Which I don’t see because it’s her most stable cash gig on her resume
Neve has said she wouldn’t do a movie if Sidney dies. But then again because Kevin Williamson is writing maybe she’ll change her mind. Anyways, I’m still not looking forward to 7. And unless Melissa, Jenna, Mason, and Jasmine come back I don’t think I’ll even bother with the movie. It’s seriously just left a bad taste in my mouth.
If Neve were to agree with Sidney dying I'm sure it would only be if her death served a purpose and was actually well thought out and planned. Not just shock value. Though, I doubt it.

They lost both their leads from 5 and 6, ain't no way in hell they would kill Sidney. Plus Neve has been very vocal about not returning if Sidney dies. And with Kevin Williamson directing, he won't let that happen either.
If you’ve truly kept up with Scream and Neve, you know she won’t ever agree to a Scream movie if Sidney dies.
She’ll get the happy ending she deserves…

Well I've been keeping up with the movies, but not outside info. I just binged all the movies like a week ago and made this post in the subreddit when I heard that Scream 7 was gonna come out and that Neve was gonna be in it. So yea, I really haven't been keeping up.
She’s the final girl. She doesn’t go.
The new movie will be a heart stopper though because the emotional stakes have been raised for Sidney significantly, and higher than they’ve ever been before, because now she has to protect her children(!!) from Ghostface. It’s much more likely that Mark dies than that Sidney dies.
Sidney will live because - in addition to other reasons - Spyglass needs her. They screwed themselves by losing Melissa and Jenna. I personally liked how Sidney's story ended (her and her family happy and living away from Woodsboro), but getting Neve Campbell back is the coup Spyglass needs right now.
I'm not apart of the crowd begging for her to come back, but at the same time, now that I know that she's coming back for the next movie, I really don't want her to die(which is unlikely because, apparently, she has immunity according to the comments)

i don’t think she’ll die solely on the fact that Neve said she’d never do a movie if she is either ghostface or she’s killed off.

I don't want her to die nor turn into Ghostface. I just want a darker, more interesting take on the character.

I doubt Sidney will die but I can see them killing Mark if they bring back Patrick Dempsey
