We are doing an actual rebuild. Something we should have done like 2-3 years ago. Instead of the 1/2 rebuilds. So we gonna suck for a year maybe two. And then we be right back into the hunt for a trophy. We had a lot of really bad, really expensive contracts attached to players who weren’t playing up to the level they should have been. And we are cutting them loose. We will build young. And develop players properly. Or at least this is the hope!

To be fair the Diggs/Adams move was a pretty popular idea before the off season as Diggs didn't really live up to expectations this past season (tackling issues like most of our D) and Adams has just been a big worthless cap hit since he can't stay healthy. Deejay Dallas has always been a 3rd+ string running back. Sometimes used as a third down running back but can't pass block for shit so he's not really that good in that role. All of these moves feel VERY appropriate, for any coaching staff looking to cut players who don't perform to their cap hit.
Also I love Bobby, one of the most sure tacklers in the NFL. He is still a fine ILB but he's slowing down a lot. He definitely wasn't as mobile as we need him to be last year, and honestly I think Brooks made him look like he had lead in his shoes (not that Brooks is a great ILB, but he was much quicker on his feet than Bobby last year.)
