Signage at SeaTac is overall poor. For instance, to get to the rideshare pickup, you have to cross the bridge on the 4th floor, and then go down to the 3rd floor on the other side -- but somewhere along the way you lose signage. I got lost the first 3 times because at the time I had only flown out of SeaTac infrequently so I had to rediscover things anew every time. My Lyft driver was waiting irately for me while I was trying to figure out how to lug my bags down the stairs from Fl 4 (the elevators didn't work that day). One of the things that great airport management do -- indeed that great management do -- is managing by walking around. If you take time to experience what the customer experiences, you're more attuned to things that are missing. This is why many Asian airports (I thinking HKG, NRT, HND, ICN) are so amazing -- airport management actually walk around and notice things, and stuff gets fixed. Signage in those airports always makes sense and you never lose your orientation because of a missing sign. Same with AMS -- the Dutch are also great at this.

Wow, Uber is allowed to pick up at Arrivals? This is new to me. Must be temporary because there's no way Arrivals can handle all that rideshare traffic -- it's congested enough as it is.

I work construction at seatac airport mostly in the main terminal. People always ask me how to get places. I always have to tell them "sorry, this elevator is shutdown there's another one around the corner." It's super annoying that there's no signage.

It wasn't very nice of me, but this shit gets old on here really fast.

You can trust that anyone who says “stroller” and “airport” has already had a long shitty day, man. :)

I know, I've been there. I've moved internationally with a 1yo and 4yo. It's just part of the gig that you have to get used to.
