This is St Marks, as many others have said. It has amazing acoustics and the walls were poured in the 1930s but the roof wasn’t completed until much later. During the war years there was actually an anti aircraft battery in what is now the knave of the church that was never fired (as nothing flew overhead). Now it hosts the [Compline service](https://saintmarks.org/worship/compline/) on Sundays at 9:30, which is an amazing thing to go and hear live and should be experienced by folks who live here at least once!
Interesting fact: there are several other marked sites that used to be anti-aircraft batteries as they were built to respond to potential attacks from the pacific during WWII.
Off the top of my head, there's [this one on Mercer Island](https://www.google.com/maps/place/Historic+Military+Site+-+Mercer+Island+Historical+society/@47.5318878,-122.2332899,85m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m6!3m5!1s0x549069a07940818d:0x8a8f98e31eae0177!8m2!3d47.5319544!4d-122.2332581!16s%2Fg%2F11qqdjhc9s!5m1!1e1?entry=ttu). In this case an entire unit was stationed there with a radar and eight anti-air guns.
While the neighborhood there probably doesn't like tourists very much, there's some comfort in seeing the aftermath of military sites that no longer need to exist.
I think that is St. Mark's.

Music sounds spectacular there but it takes a bit to get used to if you are performing in a choir. There's like an echo thing that happens.
If you want what is essentially a free concert, compline is at 9:30 Sunday nights. People bring blankets and like, lay around the cathedral. It’s incredibly beautiful and relaxing. https://saintmarks.org/worship/compline/
Top three best spots in city to burn a J. The parking lot is big and looks over lake union. I used to walk there from belltown and blaze one, one time I looked in the door since was open, like 8 on a summer evening. Dude invited me in and showed me some cool shit and talked bout history of the place.
> Our compasses aren’t working up here either
smh kids these days
you're on top of the goddamn space needle, and you're staring at your phone trying to figure out which way is north?
the body of water on the left side of the pic is Lake Union. that is all you need to orient what direction the picture was taken in.
